You can change the brightness/Contrast levels in game from the game menu.

Not in the windowed mode, Elven :)

Though i found, that with a RadeonPro i can recieve same picture, but with less agressive saturation, and a more brighter gamma :)

They can be altered once you're in full screen mode. Then you can go back into windowed mode, that's how I did it for myself.

Any chance this will work with Intel HD 4000 Graphics?

(Stupid HP did not provide bussiness laptops with a serial port and a proper graphic card back in 2012.)

I already have my graphics at Uber, I can't see any difference with these screenshots. Does it really make a huge difference?

It does not improve the resolution of textures, but adds fancy post-processing and lightning effects. Feel free to check the second quote

Sure, just download the package and unzip into your warhammer folder, you can skip the nvidia and amd thingy. Just make sure you're using the newest intel HD drivers.

A great addition to the game, thanks for giving people the option to enhance their playing experience. I was eager to try it out, as I've always felt the game was a bit drab out of the box. However after trying it out for a while, this goes a bit in the opposite direction for me.

I ended up with text almost too dark to read in the chat box and an infusion of colour so vivid it almost made the game a little garish, and hard to look at. It could be my monitor, but the contrast seemed really rough, where I'd have appreciated only a small increase in colour fidelity.

Is there anything I can do to adjust it down, to make some sort of *lite* version, if you will?

Ohmygerd! My game looks amazing now!

For those who are having issues with window mode + brightness, Sildur found a fix:
In SweetFX_settings.txt at #define HDRPower 1.00. You could lower this value to make the image brighter.
0.00 will make your game way too bright (white screen lel), for me I just needed to set it to 0.85ish to get what I wanted.

Thanks again Sildur :P
