Gold is worthless in this game, as soon you reach t4, 99% your end game gear will be from RvR/PvP stuff not by gold . Ended up Live with few thousands worthless gold and was not even a crafter.

Even now best gear is from RvR/PvP currency not gold

And don't tell me levelling is fast, to gather Devastator set and Duellist with SC weapons, played hundreds of sc and spend many hrs on RvR to get that and will not bother to do it again.

I do not care about gold of mine or any one else, I do not grind or farm but still have plenty of gold but I do care about my gear which is spend lots of time to get and you cant buy it on AH.

With T4 again will be lots of sc and RvR to gear up, tahts fine but why the hell go over again by t1-t3

i cant be bothered to read 18 pages of drama, but a quick run thru seems to show that while opinions are pretty mixed on the subject, they seem to be very one sided on both ends

personnaly, i really dont care. wipe it right now and im still gonna log in and play, for a very simple reason : its fun. hell, even when bringing up alts i'm having tons of fun. probably even more fun in t1 and t2 than t3 where u get hit by the powergap right in the face, and sc premades full of decked out 35/40 ppl with perfect group compositions (yeah, i'm looking at you, destro late nite NA premades!). There's wharhammer and then there's gearhammer

in of those old school mmos where u had to pve for months to even get to a lvl where you could pvp, **** no, i wouldnt start over, but in a game where i can pvp and have a fun time doing it from lvl one, who gives a ****, especially how easy it is to get to the current cap compared to back on live.

bottom line, war is a journey, not a destination ^^

You know my comment is legit and it proved your theory wrong about 'economy in a good place' cause we all know thats not true.

This is what you said about crafting:

That is the definition of laziness.

You are complaining that you don't make gold when you choose to not spend the time in the most common method of making it. Do you see how brain-dead your line of reasoning is?

Since you're an expert on real life work it should be no problem for you to understand... want the $? Work for it.

Yah I am, historically speaking, never much of a crafter ^.^

However its easy enough to level up some of the basic stuff, the very least i run gathering professions on my toons, salvage, scavenge etc.

I don't see the point of wiping gold and/or characters. The more experienced players will have their toons back to maximum level and have tons of gold in no-time.The earlier wipes we had on the server were because some people were using exploits to get their gold and those wipes made sense. But those people are banned, and the exploits have been fixed.

No, it's really not, on live I never touched crafting I was rich cause my 'luck' was much better than here, yeah there were guildies I could use and abuse for crafting too but that's not the point, I personally hate it i'm allowed to the same as you can love it and spend all your time doing it I don't care, the fact is I shouldn't have to become a fully fledged crafter to make gold, anyway I have passed my worries and now farm a nice spot I found making lots more than before, so this convo is null
