Does the guard ability actually work?

Pretty much this. A week ago, I died in picosecond trying to guard WP who gets focused from Sorc and SHamman
It seems that tank doesnt recieve 50% of incomming dmg to guarded player. It is somehow multipled by 3-4x.... That leads the tank die 2-3x faster than guarded player.

HI Luth,
Just a quick and maybe a naff question. I've tried to fiddle around with the GES add on recently, It looks really useful but what do you do if you toggle the character marker (G over your head) off? How do you control the add? It seems impossible to get back to switching guard option on/off again. Are there any keyboard controls? Thank You.

You can always type " /ges " in the chatwindow to show the options menu.

Updated the main post with the fixed addon, so people don't have to edit it by themself. Just remember that it is temporary and maybe the original addon will work again one day.

I don't mean to bring down your awesome work, but I actually found this addon to make my game perform worse?? anyone else notice that it worsen performance?
