EA is a tactic that has the most value in a SnB Hoeth/Vaul build. It is what I use in my build and it adds more damage overall than PE does. PE is a very close runner-upper though.

I have to agree with Eiger although he is a guildie so I am duty bound.

Having run SnB and 2-hander and all kinds of variations, SnB generally feels much more useful. Sure, 2-hander is in a good shape and can be successfully run for solo roaming or in a 6v6 as an off-tank, but in any other game-mode I just feel that SnB performs better. SnB Hoeth/Vaul I do less damage myself compared to a 2-hander (albeit not significantly less), but provide much more group utility and have superior survivability.

I had a period that I ran exclusively 2-hander and I did well and it's very viable, but I've gone back to SnB as I stopped looking at the numbers and realised - like someone else said - that I'm a tank first and foremost and my main role is to guard, assist and provide CC and utility.

I went and tested the DoT tactics, I was correct and it is as on retail. Tight on gold for now so respeccing twice to test DI isn't an option (I won't be running DI atm).

CoT: Doesn't scale with STR, Spirit damage, first tick 1s after application
PE: Doesn't scale with STR, Spirit damage, first tick immediatelly
EA: Scales with STR, Spirit damage, first tick 1s after application.

Offtopic question; can anyone tell me if WoDS hits proc weapon procs? Or if they proc anything really. I don't recall them doing that on retail but I might be wrong.

WODS reflection should trigger onDirectDamage effects.

Don't know why people are still on thinking WW is best thing since sliced bread. Unless your group comp is build around a already low CD ability that can be spammed to great effect it isn't worth it. Just get ED and do sick damage. Mine crit for 770 on average with 580ish str.

Hit the nail on the head there, exactly how I feel. It's a decision between improving your groups CDs (which they might not be heavily abusing unless you build/spec your group that way) and doing decent damage or improving your groups kill potential by being capable of 80% of the burst of a MDPS.

Of course the best middle ground would be an ED/WW build at RR70
