it was me being unsure what to call it, in retrospect I guess I should have called it events and not weekends.

From playing it for a night my early opinion of the AM mechanic is it enforces playing as a lifetap healer. old .exmode had the same issue of healing/lifetap weaving being far stronger than any other use of the mechanic.
Using the mechanics intended weaving design is still pointless. Casting some fluff damage or healing to drop and then build a point makes you less effective the opposite of what using a mechanic is meant to. You need the offspec cast to build effectiveness to make the cast worthwhile.
Id also remove the AP reduction from mechanic points as it just gives lifetap healers AMs with Wild Healing limitless AP. Find another way to solve Shaman AP issues as AM doesnt have them.

I have enjoyed the AM changes so far, although I have not really worked out what is optimal yet. It is good to have a reason to pick up the AM again.
It feels like Transfer Force/Bleed Fer Me have been left behind by the changes to BE/ITT and EoV/FoDG. Not sure if by design or oversight.

Auto detaunt and speed boost tactics for shammies counterbalance wild healing imo. So if it gets changed, those should as well, because being alive is probably more important as a healer than having infinite AP. Also, Zealots and RP can have pretty much limitless AP as well, so it seems like a problem only in a vacuum.
