Don't play destro as they have a 2-1 city number sometimes and means a lot of people will not get in.

No, they don't have to add pve instances. You want best loot, you fight for it. You want pops, you make warbands or join them. You go solo, to become a filler for instances where people crashed. If this isn't helping, you go defend, they always get pops, even 2 min before end.

You got tools, you only have to use them.
For best gear you are not going to kill some trash mobs, forget it.

Solutions as "you go defend" are not right. Xrealming is not a thing everyone do, i only play Destru side so playing order is not an option. Even as goin solo as you say, when i play in a guild and i run squads/12 warbands. That is not an option, there's a reason why we play in guilds, to play with friends, not going solo. So PvE instances are a good idea for the final minutes of queue. If you say "You want best loot, you fight for it"...guess what we have been doing to get to city...

I only play Order (well like 99% of the time) and have never missed a City I have queue'd for. If the problem is only on destro then thats pretty evident that Destro is over-populated and needs to self-regulate if you want to progress. Or just get in a full 24-man WB and never miss a Q.

Or he lost his spot to one of the other 400 people that had been farming 200-300 Order for the entirety of the push.

Besides the fact that forcing people to farm contribution for the entirety of a city push is cruel and unusual -- especially for players that are approaching the rr70 breakpoint and still need Invaders -- it still wouldn't solve the "problem." Some people would spend hours pushing keeps and multiple forts, and still miss the city. It's inevitable when one side has a huge population advantage.

I don't know what the answer is tbh. I play both sides and my main on order has his sov so I thought I'd start getting my main on destro hers but I have queued now for 10 cities on destro and not got a city 3 times out of the 10. This is me queuing solo from the moment city opens every time. At this point I'm thinking of just ending my destro toons at invader because I have to be honest sitting there for 30 plus minutes 3 times and not getting a city was pretty awful. At least 2 of those times there was 2 plus warbands of destro outside city with me who also did not get in. I don't know what the answer is for people who only play destroy and don't have a full wb but I will only queue order now as I have never not gotten a pop on that side.

Stop quing up solo and join a warband lmao, why is everyone in such a hurry to gear up, it's not like you do anything except sit around the city waiting for it to pop.

I'd rather have some sorts of contribution system for entering cities, then entering the ford. Fords are supposed too be a "zerg-fest" where everybody can join. Its all about destroying you're opponents defences … Cities are only supposed too be for the "strongest" and those still alive (those who actually contributed towards pushing cities).

when Altdorf came up tonight the T4 Server pop was 40% / 60%. After a few minutes it swung back to 45% / 55% but still that's a big difference.

I suppose the advantage of playing destro in City these days is that your chance of winning is quite high. (if you get in)

Ok devs let all Destro that que up have a guaranteed instance and Order gets to que as much as they want until all of them get their runs in.
As far as earn contribution for everything as long as you are on and get a guaranteed spot well you still end up with a population issue is there enough to fill both sides? The answer is no someone gets left out.
