Since the last rework, it's been pretty good. I consider it a mild improvement. The damage remains the same and it's only increased by Tactics. The Squig Pet however, are now more useful than before.
I mostly play Big Shootin as a +80 rSH, solo roam rvr, casual scenarios, sometimes join a warband. And overall, the rework has been decent enough to make me comeback to play my SH (quit playing the game months ago) So for a rework that made me play the game again says a lot about it.

This is the same for every physical damage class and the super simple easy obvious solution to fix them all would be to remove armor potions from the game. God you are the most annoying type of poster. You reset the facts to fit your narrative. Post your groups party disposition.
I was in that City, and we kicked your ass. Cause you have 5 engi's, 5 WHs, and 2-4 tanks. Your dps wasn't assisting each other, and you didn't have anywhere near the damage mitigation to handle a 12man premade and 2 6mans(3 sepearete groups queing and not in collective coms btw, I had to spam the **** out of /sc for communications) with 2/2/2 groups.
PUGs get rolled by organize groups. That is entirely balanced.
Btw, you had at least 1 organized group that was nipping at our tails and forcing me or another tank to suicide to hold you up. You guys coulda done some actual damage if you had used assist. You had the DPS.
That City means nothing in regards to balance, class or otherwise. The SH has pounce so he can get onto the squishies before they die, and the magus was ranged. THat's why they had top DPS.

This not about us losing. We did well. Though destruction premade WB full in sovereign barely winning (instead of utterly destroying) against pug wb of order with a few healers some of which are DPS is a testament to destruction incompetence. They are all bad and can only bruteforce their way through sheer numbers and gear disparency. But I digress.
Look at the damage distribution inside the premade itself. Melee SH deal more damage than anyone in the WB. 2x more than the sorc and choppa. 3x more than mara. 4-5x more than WE.
While being tanky, hypermobile and having more cc than tanks. This is not balanced.
