Obviously solo and premades need to be separate if at all possible but I doubt with how small the pop is for most of the night it could be done without killing pops totally. Maybe a few changes to how discordants work would help?

Discordant sc's should be 1 map during the week and the event sc on the weekend. That 1 sc during the week needs to be a small map that quickly gets you into the action with little to no pve involved but still lets ranged players have fun too.

I don't que discordants because I will more often than not get huge maps with like 3 people, playing phoenix gate with 3 is just pain. Give me mourkain temple or gates of ekrund or caledor woods, maps all classes can be effective in and will end quickly in case you are getting smashed.

While we are at it speed up point gain so the sc ends even quicker during a total whooping for faster wins/losses and more sc pops with less surrenders. Its not losing that bothers me really its waiting 2+hours for a pop then getting smashed but having to wait 15 freaking minutes for that garbage to end.
