To expand on what Github said, LOS is definitely being worked on. Yep Line of sight should be fixed asap, because its what destroy RvR right now.
BTW I cannot wait for T3 to see massive reroll from engies to another character and only ones who actualy love that class wil stay with it. All others play it, because now its OP. And we know what is OP now can be weak later .-)
When it does get patched, it will probably be incrementally, with certain zones / areas getting it first, while we evaluate its impact on server performance, and fix any issues that crop up.

Didn't know it was something that would have to be done for every area/wall etc... sounds like a lot work 
the melee trains obviously fair much better in the open fields in ORvR.

ORvR specifically keep D/Atk has a different meta compared to scenarios / 6v6. RDPS are much more valuable. One of the most hated guilds order side is russian bears because their main premade runs a sorc, and their group comp can stop 1 pug warband easily. Where the melee train would more than likely fail. LoS issues being fixed will help slightly but as far as keeps go I would take an engineer/magus/bw/sorc over any mdps easily.Soulcheg wrote:Why everyone talking about BW's bombing premades? Thankfully it is not a manual process, but just for example, the RvR keeps might get LOS before the rest of their zone does, because we can exclude everything else if we want. Keeps seem to be the main issue, having played a sorc/engineer both to 20 I can say that just one person hiding behind the wall and spamming AoE can be devastating. If any group in that wb doesn't have a healer they just fold, and AoEing back at me results in champs and the lord getting pulled which can just as easily cause a wipe.

They are lacking purpose atm with the lack of PQ loot, and medallion vendors. But they can still be fun, and are one of the easiest (Not fastest) ways to level up a character, getting influence and players drops while you get decent XP from caps. Played 5 years as a BG, i always had 2 equip set/builds - sc/roaming and ORvR. In sc i was always with 2hand, and with melee train. But in ORvR, in our WBs, every DPS were specced into AoE build. Sorcs, slayers. Chosen, BG/Bork, Sorc, Sorc/Slayer, zealot/shammy, DoK. Push&bomb. But we talking mostly about scenarios now.
