ORvR, City sieges, and flipping zones was always the ground concepts of the game. It was about the conflict between all of Order and all of Destro. Hence the name WAR.

But again, some people will always disagree, no matter what.

Hahahaha oh yes Paul Barnett, how could I forget him. What happened to that dude? He hyped WAR to the max, then disappeared from what I can tell.

Somewhere in US, probly in EA streaming dept or something. The guy was a consultant for GW for more than a decade, then the man between the Mythic-EA and GW and after he left I think the "End Times" came.

I for one am not concerned about rdps underperforming in t4. First because 6v6 can be the ideal context to balance the game around, but still there will be a lot of oRvR huge fights going on where rdps will still have a great time picking out squishy targets who are unguarded for a few moments and getting many DBs with 0 deaths themselves if they are careful. Not to mention all those situations when for a number of reasons warbands or even 6 mans lose their discipline and scatter around the map.

Also, and most importantly, rdps have had their way during most of the games development from t1. if they fall a little bhind in one possible environment, even if it is the ideal environment, even if it were the most usual environment, it's a fair trade off. Because rdps, especially ridiculously bs classes like dps AM, rank last in the Risk vs Reward category, which imho should be the guiding principle of any pvp game, and therefore don't deserve to ALWAYS be top dog throughout the whole game.

Hi! Sry my english is not the best.

What i m thinking on it?

First question is 1v1,6v6,wb vs wb or xx vs xx?
Second old core rules vs new rules?

Before we or our devs change anything we need to test it!

I know some ppl like old core rules, but i think we need to change something.

If we focus the rvr, so xx vs xx
We need to see the biggest picture!

Bring the player not the class!

We have lot of dps characters and lesser healers and tanks + duelist dps tanks and healers,So lot of dmg source.

Maybe change the party rules something will better:
Party heal, heal the targeted player party
Buffs, same as auras
Guard, tanks not only use guard party players
Cleanse ability not only cleance one type of debuff

And AAO grant some defensive stat bonus

We can try discuss some changes

I respect the views of others and accept the outcome

Sry if i take mistake forum rules.

you do understand, that devs change something in this alpha actually IS testing it? ^^

you cant balance all around 6vs6 and you cannot balance anythign around wb vs wb either some issues need to be balanced in their "field of action" which anyway alwas led to wb vs wb as the st can be used effectively even in wb vs wb.

"field of action"---> how much a skill influence the battle, the less it's going to be balanced in small skirmish, the more it need to be balanced in bigger fights

---> aoe stuff in open rvrv/wb vs WB
---> ST 6vs6

the rest need to stay in between the balance and treat separetly depending of the impact it have on the game.

unless you just gona "change" every aoe tooltips to match ppl affected and damage to balanced to hit 6 ppl instead 9.
If that's what you want, start with shatter limbs please all destru need that skill be balanced around 6vs 6 so....... why it' still hit 9x ppl? sinc CD increase are so op that's should be a priority issue. But saw as the other threads derail i dont think ppl want a real 6vs 6 balance, they just defending their status quo aiming for nothing more that their personal interest.


This just make me laught as someone continue to tell that BG is strong when a ch+bo+mara+we set up can do exatly anything that a bg do and also have a lower TTK . Still IB is so much >>> BG and BG/IB have one of their unique feature mirrored in staple tank in game that are kosb/CH.

PPl do not really want this game fixed other wise "these stuff above " would had alredy been fast pointed out by those premades and fast fixed by dev.
