Grobbok no offense but you are 24/7 yourself. If you guys would just try to enjoy the game as it is, you would have fun. Whether is annihilator nor mercenary required to have fun and success. Not a single premade has 6 lvl 40 afaik, at least i didn't saw any and none of us is fully geared yet.

we are ALL in the gear process. and this whine about losing a item or the required effort to get the BEST IN SLOT gear is totally unnecessary. what do you guys want? t4 release and BiS for free? honestly and i mean it, it wouldn't help you.

be happy about what you got, enjoy T4 and gear up slowly. It's cool to have goals and achievements. That and the great PvP should be the reason why playing RoR.

that mindset is completely insane and reflects the way you play the game. nobody is forced to zerg. We participated in 3(!) keep raids since T4 release and our healers do have 3 and 4 annihilator. They both have the new T4 chalice and whether do we have insane playtimes nor do we steamroll keeps.

the gear can be unlocked by PvP quite fast. maybe you guys should just whine a bit less and have fun srsly. Go to PvP, kill stuff, have fun and profit.

it is not bout me, but about ppl who have maybe 2-3 hours to play per week, they also wanna enjoy game, and now they feel like thing to be hitting, they even don't go play rvr coz they know they will never farm gear or even gold to fly from zone to zone.

If you want gear and talis, I am sure that something can be arranged, I have lots of talis in the 14-18 STATS range that I dont bother to equip and that I randomly give to players that I meet and find to be friendly, also do that with gear, as this game is in alpha - by my reckoning, gold will sooner or later be purged again as exploiters of the game are still active and are still discovered.

hm i can see roughly 5 people complaining. one of them is you while hundreds seem to enjoy the new content in a very grateful way. The PvE and the PvP in both sc's and oRvR is more than alive. Can't be that bad.

I'm not gonna comment anything about you being "goldless" and "medallionless", but you are complaining to the developers for wiping the gear that you only got in 2 (two) days ? Something stinks here...

Grobbok, what you don't seem to understand is that not every game need to fit to everyone needs.

RoR is not meant to be for casual players. Playing 2-3 hour a WEEK, you barely can be considered as a player. As in every other MMO, players should play almost daily for getting any kind of regular progression. This is far more important when it comes to a PvP focused one.

If you want a casual game, go play witcher, dragon age or that type of games. In every other PvP focused game, those players who play the most, will always have an advantage over/get things faster than the rest. Deal with it.

I don't see the need for all the hate against him. I understand his frustrations and feel with him. Not entirely in the same situation as I was expecting somekind of wipe / rollback, but lost talismen aswell. As did many of us but it's Alpha. If he feels like posting his frustrations, let him and move on.

This'll come as no surprise to you, but one of my pet hates is staff messages, either information or orders, being ignored.

We said, very clearly, that there would be issues and there would be wipes. Therefore, no one on this server has a leg upon which to stand if they choose to complain, including you. If you decided to slot talismans within the first week or two of T4 when we warned you all it was buggy, that's your fault, and you don't have the right to be frustrated. If you can't handle the periods of upheaval which come with major content updates, come back in a few weeks.

Accordingly, I am not going to defend people if they are going to complain about something we warned you all about. I'm happy to let the community justly rip the hell out of them without intervening. Saves me the job of doing it myself.

Why do we have to compensate people who ignored warnings about potential wipes and slotted talismans anyway? We don't, and we won't. Ignore staff warnings - get burnt. Just as it should be.
