It's a lot more than that. In runescribed/woe I can pull of almost the same int w/ almost 1k more hp on my sorc.

We are in t2 which means obviously i have played past t1, not to mention the time i spent on live in t4 but anyway... Its a non issue because it hardly makes a difference, 20 extra stat points, 100 armor rating whatever it is aint worth whining about. I see players in green gear outhealing/outdps'ing doing better applying CC and guard switch then players in full blue and purp stuff. Its like on live where some ppl refused to pvp before they got into warpforge armor but when they did they got owned by players in sov.
If you played on "t4 on "live" and still say the difference is minimal, then one would assume you must have only zerged. If you're zerging, then yes gear isn't that dramatic. In a scenario I rather have a WE with green daggers hit me rather than one with purple daggers. Someone who only zergs probably doesn't even know what auto attacking values are

Lets not make assumptions here, anyone who knew me from live would know your comment is way way off the mark, i dont wana argue with you but try again.
While there is a difference in stats, resists, armor, aa speed and weapons dps its not much and certainly isnt +80 str difference like Jaycub said. It wont make or break you !! gear yourself in green stuff and go and pvp, who cares so much for blue and purp stuff unless they suck and need any sort of edge over there opponent.

1 weapon dps = 5 str equiv for ability dps, and 10 str equiv for auto attack dps (the latter is kind of obvious)

25 to 31 dps.... thats 30 str equiv per weapon to abilities, and 60 str for auto attacks, and lets not forget the higher stats probably 5-10 str and another stat like toughness? It is VERY close to 80 str difference for abilities, and for auto attack classes like brut mara this is absolutely huge.

morf this assumption is not totaly true, there are classes that do better in the fight proportionaly with their gear

tank for first the : the damage reduction by % make the add of new grear better than other classes

classes that stack 1 stat: like WH/WE that gain the most with just ingoring 100% armor with damage that have only the toughness to lower it until t4.

Dok/wp as they rec depend from the color of their chalice, also the more they are tanky the more can spam and rec, the more they can spam and rec the more they heal.

Just an exemple in t3 dok/wp with purple chalice and rvr sets full def spec are gods.

we are currently capped at lvl 20, PQs are not working, keep rewards are not working, some days SC only pops every 20minutes and when one side is too big orvr is dead.

so removing drops from PvE has effectively negated 1/3 of the current content, besides that it has removed most of the economy and through that the community that gets built by trading.

and finally it has turned any gear progression beyond inf reward into a /random (provided ppl dont need on stuff they already have)

also: its not about "needing" blue/purpto compete, its about the core aspect of any MMO that is character progression / making your character as good as it can be.

I'll just quote Telen

"Those that dont understand the advantages of min/maxing are always destined to be mediocre."

Edit: ^ for Morf. Really, if you don't understand the concept of a purple weapon vs. a green weapon, then why even say anything? You're literally saying "IT Doesn't MATTER!!" yet you don't explain why it doesn't matter. Plenty of others have pointed out dps + stat differences, yet you continue the "OMG IT DOESN'T MATTER I WAS KNOWN ON LIVE AND THAT'S THAT".

No need to get yourself all worked up.
If u read i acknowledged blue or purp gear is better but not to the extent of the ppl who cry "i cant get my purp or blue stuff from pve, drops are so bad, i cant compete in green items, it much change" bs.
Feel free to blame your shortcomings on a few extra stats if it makes you feel better, doesnt bother me.

You guys are complaining about the economy & drops but do remember that this game is still listed as being in pre-alpha and the developers can reset everything (like they have done in the past) so it really doesn't matter at the moment how it is. When the game is finished (t4 is completed) and it is ready to come off of the pre-alpha stage then hopefully everything will be set correctly and this won't be an issue.
