Why casters can stack only 1 stat to be efficient while mdps needs str, ws, crit, futiles, parry to do something? rdps may not invest in survivability, they stay behind blob. Also all mdps in permanent challenge debuffs, while rdps do their full damage.

You are really being unreasonable about the current situation.shamallow wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 1:59 pmI don't know on which server you play this game, but this statement made me laugh
The Order side is dominating cities, LotD, and taking way more fortresses than Destro.
Of course there are a lot of xrealmers on this server, but I'm wondering if you play on NA time, because EU is mostly order dominance for me.
That said, I almost stopped playing the last few weeks, but I can't believe the situation has changed.
I play almost non-stop with AAO during peak hours.

Because offensive statistics gave defensive statistics.Florian90210 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 11:29 pm Gravord's changes had reason to it. But what started after with new team is ridiculous. WS/INI change is very good.
Besides, no good mdps in the history of warhammer ever invested a parry because you mostly die anyway on KD and burst goes in the back (fighting against good opponents).
Anyway mele still wins every rpds composition (if it puts pressure on rdps), so quit crying about it.
Oh I say this from the perspective of a player who doesn't play rdps at all, so I'm not defending my style of play.
Explain to me why mdps has a hard life now and rpds has the advantage?
After all, in the fight against rdps parry does not help at all with other mdps you have the same chances because the changes affect each side of the conflict.

I doubt that the lag is a result of Avoidance, we had this same lag bug a long time ago and have seen it again over time through things that cause a ton of data to be sent to the client at a time (ID & Blasting Potions were the biggest culprits in theory).
However, I could be wrong; who knows?

Re: ROR 2024 Positive and negative
Is it worse to have a stat that offers a mix of Offense and Defense which Weapon Skill did for 15 years, or have a Defensive stat that gives Anticrit and 2 types of Avoidance?
Also, it was very common among good players to stack Parry in competitive environments as DPS, in fact, it's still common. You can't always perfectly hit from the back with a full group, and what if you just parry the KD? What if you parry Heal Debuff?

Re: ROR 2024 Positive and negative
Well, the last thing I would accuse Gravord of is making changes to favour one side of the play. He plays on both sides, and he has been a devoted player. As far as I remember, the WAR existed. If he suggested something, then I have no doubt he really believed that would bring some balance to the game. The reason I find his ideas of the game reliable is because I know he has played all the possible combinations of 6vs6 on both sides, so he knows how effective they are and what both sides actually lack.
When it comes to Pet pathfinding issues, it was a daft idea to delimit the pet movements to the same rules that apply to the players, considering pets wouldn't do necessary movements such as jumping, sliding down etc. So, both SH and WL pets are only %50-55 functional most of the time, which hurts deeply considering how dependent both classes are on their pets.
An additional complaint on SH - after a period of sacrificing range for dmg boost, dmg boost has been taken back with the subsequent changes, and the range which was sacrificed was not fully restored; I think the max range on the QS tree is around 80 now, and it was 98ft with the tactic before the dmg boost provided with changes like red tipped arrer and etc.. So I still ask, why?

Trust me, it's even worse for SW. Yeah, spaghetti arrow and broadhead arrow can be cast from 100 ft...but who cares if most of the time your actual range is defined by your healing debuff's range (65 ft). And, just to rub the wound, SH got actually useful skill in his QS tree while SW still has this Flame Arrow joke, almost completely useless skill which wouldn't be missed even if it was deleted (and it WAS free core skill, not like it was really useful then, and now, when they actually offer you to spent some points to lern it...).
P.S. I'm not saying that gobbo QS is very good spec dps-wise. Its just better than SW skirmish (aside from poking some running healer-less hobos). Because QS gobbo can now throw some healing debuff from afar (hi, official game SW, SH 98 ft skirmish/QS) while avoiding screaming some "pull me/rdps burst me!" nonsence.
