Re: Two Handed DPS Classes
Question - I've been saving up soldier emblems for my second Choppa weapon.
Which does more damage? The 2 hander or Dual wield?

Re: Two Handed DPS Classes
It's quite simple to check - install Enemy, enable combat statistics (probably on by default), Go kill some mobs, with 2x1H check stats, equip 2H check stats again

I asked the same question a long time ago and base T3 2h sc wep vs 2 base 1 handersredfingers wrote:Question - I've been saving up soldier emblems for my second Choppa weapon.

The 2h has 19 more dps but 2h can only slot 1 of each talli type so 1 str talli vs 2 str tallis of the same type ends up giving 1 more dps to dw
Also dw gives 10% parry and has faster aa can proc things like frozen touch and stuff more b/c of that
That would require a wopping 420 crests…….ropuch wrote: with 2x1H check stats, equip 2H check stats again

Lol. I mean I had an 86 WL. It doesn't change. You still burst down squishies in 3 or 4 globals.

Re: Two Handed DPS Classes
Not really, for statistic purpose you can equip 2H/1H Doom-Caller weapons, easily obtained from AH. I know stats do matter, but you can still compare how often AA hits and how it contributes to overall outgoing dmg.Coryphaus wrote: That would require a wopping 420 crests…….

Is there an add on with raw DPS similar to Recount?ropuch wrote:It's quite simple to check - install Enemy, enable combat statistics (probably on by default), Go kill some mobs, with 2x1H check stats, equip 2H check stats again
Hmmm, never mind. Grabbed Tortall's here, needed core and parser.

I have to say, I'm not entirely sure what the point of telling me to get Enemy was. It only has an incoming DPS meter display, which is - cute, I guess?
Tortall's has crit and per-target breakdowns as well as a healing breakdown, the UI is better, and I can put it onscreen while I'm in combat in real time. It's more visually obstructive than recount is but it also has a lot better broken down information. I recommend it.

Re: Two Handed DPS Classes
You have to add Tortall's DPS meter add on and Tortall's DPS Parser from here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id= ... sp=sharing
Extract both into the folder Interface-Add Ons.
If you enable it on the interface menu, it should have a little "DPS" icon in the top lefthand corner.
Here's a screenshot of the interface that pops up when you push the button:

There's a black popup that it launches with that has raw DPS output. If you maximize this window, which can also be dragged, there's a healing tab and expanded info like crits.
For some reason the number on this window is different from the window that pops up when you push the red "DPS" button in the top lefthand corner. Both windows are draggable and can be expanded/minimized.
Two problems I noticed are that the two windows seem to disagree sometimes (or get desynced). This seems to be because the black window ticks for longer once you die/go out of combat, which makes your DPS meter fall after you exited combat. I found that Recount/Skada in WoW do this too, but for less time after you leave combat. There's also no automatic reset for each encounter like Recount, which means you have to keep clicking the reset button if you want accurate per encounter reading, which is usually preferred.
Also, /tdps commands don't work.
This website has a description of the addon, and it says: "Note: If the client claims that /tdps is not a command, please do the following:
1) Edit TortallDPSMeter/Tortall_DPS.mod.
2) Add the following line
immediately before the line which reads "
^Like, that's literally what it says. It's missing the part where it says what line you need to add in order for it to work. Lol.
