Herro. I'm getting this error when I attempt to login to the game:

Error starting: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\Users\WoW User\Desktop\WAR.exe'.
File name: 'C:\Users\WoW User\Desktop\WAR.exe'
at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy, Boolean useLongPath, Boolean checkHost)
at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy)
at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access)
at RoRLauncher.Hash.GetMd5HashFromFile(String fileName)
at RoRLauncher.Client.patchExe()
at RoRLauncher.Client.Handle(PacketIn packet)

It says I'm missing the war.exe? Should I just download it again?

EDIT: Downloading it again did not work.

Could not find file means that you didnt put the Launcher into the folder where the warpatch.exe is

Is your launcher in the same folder like the WAR.exe and not in a special folder?

Run launcher as Administrator, make sure the FOLDER (not the launcher!!!) isn't set to "read only".

This can be done by right clicking the game folder > properties > uncheck "Read Only" > OK.

Alright! I put the launcher into the file, and now I'm getting this error:

Error starting: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Users\WoW User\Downloads\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning\WAR.exe' is denied.
at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy, Boolean useLongPath, Boolean checkHost)
at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy)
at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode)
at RoRLauncher.Client.patchExe()
at RoRLauncher.Client.Handle(PacketIn packet)

Does this have something to do with being an admin to the comp? I have admin access, the "access is denied" part is making me think that.

EDIT: Didn't quite understand the "read only" part but I got it. Thanks for the help. -hug-

.. read _BEFORE_ posting ..

->
Access was denied to the file WAR.exe!

Some torrent clients will write-protect the directory to which you downloaded the client. Remove the write-protection and try again. You may also try running the launcher with Administrator privileges.

Hey guys. Just wanted to check I'm not doing anything silly - Just downloaded all the 5 parts from Mega. Do I then just extract them all into the same file? If so, what do I do after that? I also have the launcher downloaded...

Extract the one you can extract in one folder. Then it will extract all the others too.

Then put the launcher inside this folder.
