And yes, having to sit there actively switching channels is a PITA .... and all because morons like you do not want to police their own chat channels and expect someone else (the game and or devs) to do it for you!

The negatives far outweigh the positives on this.

Why can't we just have the game as it was on shut down? It was perfect!!!!

Patch notes mention the cloaks being available, I have 6 broken wight blades now but no tome unlock and thus no death shroud cloak. Is this intentional? (I tried clicking on them too as this may have been needed but nothing happened).

Aza added the new channels because he wanted the spam in advice to stop. I think he should be allowed to decide for himself on what he wants to "waste" his time on.
Switching channels literally takes half a second so I don't understand how that could be such a big problem.

Also don't call me a moron. Take a timeout.

Maybe you realise that this server encounters an increasing number of people who want to play the game at the same time?
Maybe it would be stupid/the outright chaos to have only one global chat for everything when a few thousand players are online at the same time?

The function for this unlock is not yet working. Only specific kills/killcount objective cloaks are obtainable at the moment.

Have the general class stats been lowered? I'm missing quite an amount of Ballistic Skill and Toughness on engi, and gear stats seem to be as before
