If you don't mind me asking (anyone can answer btw), which posterns are currently the most buggy/unreliable/unimplemented? I can take a look at a few of them and look it over with the developer that handles the code for it, and try to get them fixed. While I don't personally know what the devs are working on I think these 3 points would make for a more enjoyable RVR experience.
Something I think you overlooked is the fact that posterns are still not reliable. It makes it hard to do hit and run attacks on the enemy flanks. If you can't get back inside after.
But even with better siege mechanics, I would say a certain amount of flip flopping / warcamp guarding is just innate to the game.

Elf T3 destro keep comes to mind. The WC side door works fine, but both order WC side and back entrance work 50% of the time only. I believe the same is true for the Empire T3 Order keep, the postern located left of the main door.

Talabecland Order keep seems that you can only use postern like 1% of the time. You'll usually see order trying to suicide for the Keep Door, we do this alot

Banning people will definetely not help. I have 1 char on Order and 2 on Destro, but that doesnt mean I xrealm.

As it is now, once the single WB that is left after the major switch is done (which happens each night nowadays) and starts facing impossible odds with +4 full wb's roaming the lake, then you will find them all in a WC, guarding the mailbox - granted they are still in the lake, sort of, but they might aswell log off, there is nothing they can do, really.

Yes but those 4 warbands get nothing out of zerging. The amount of exp/renown the zerg gets is nerfed when no one defends keeps to pretty much nothing and I do believe they are working on doing this for BOs as well. The free ride is coming to an end. So if people want to zerg they are more than welcome to. we know that because that was the case at retail WAR... When one of the sides got overpopulated at the lakes the other one just logged off or went to do pve. Empire seems especially bad recently. The backdoor works, but the outer posterns in T3 often don't work. I haven't tried chaos keeps personally, but I have been told that it was the same for destro.
I occasionally have the same problem in dwarf, but it's very rare. With Empire it is most of the time now. Thanks for looking into it!
