I noticed since this patch that pet's (squigs) are now able to extend their range again, attack through terrain (apparently)..


Gas Squig I encountered was able to attack when not is LoS, other squigs are jumping to the 3rd floor of keeps during sieges...

These wer some quick updates. Good work. Unfortunately my game crashes in every extended fight since this patch. I guess that's not a lot of information but I couldn't narrow it down more.

I played Magus before the last patch --> My Pet Pink Horror did not shoot when in LoS
But yesterday I played Order in T3 Keep a Magus Pet shoot me through the Walls.

Squig Herder

Thank you! Have been playing with these changes since patch hit the server and from the Squigs POV, it just got a whole lot better.
FYI: Pets still have a tendency to do the "Your pet is too far away from you and have been dismissed." directly after a dismount following a pet stance command(i.e Attack/Heel) - It seems to be very random when it happens and I sometimes think the X, Z, Y-Axis are to blame somehow.

Changing the Horned Squig actually makes the bastard a little less useless. Good job doing something the original devs never managed!

*Ninja edit* The HP pools were increased or decreased?

3% on 1-hand, 6% on 2-hand I assume?

Although I believe these values have been lowered at the same time as sc weapons since patch was implemented 14/10/16?

Yeah, it refers to crit. 1-Handed gutslime weapons used to have +3% crit on them. 2-Handed gutslime weapons had +6% crit on them. Those were replaced with +1% and +2% crit versions respectively, when NPCs didn't have custom abilities.

When the custom abilities were brought back, and lair bosses could be made difficult again, the original +3% and +6% critical chance weapons were brought back. And then probably reduced again after the crit rebalance, but I'm not sure.
