Problem is with that group you can't push up in the healers face because 1 tank guarding a choppa is hardly any kind of frontline. The melee train meta setup with 2 tanks 2 mdps will just run over to you backlines and try to find an opening, if the choppa runs to backlines he is just going to get detaunted and /lol becuase 1 choppa isn't going to do anything to healers. And your RDPS can't assist because of the pressure being applied by 2 guarded mdps.Mez wrote:fav part is where 3 dps group is not enough damage. Not enough defense? With that setup you are always on the defensive or wiping against a 2 tank setup.

Wow I just found the ignore function in forums, this is going to greatly increase my experience. And reduce my threads by 10 pages.

Word of Pain and Boiling Blood are no longer able to proc anything. The Bright Wizard College has confirmed this is a big deal. (stealth nerf)

Well not necessarily about no crit stacking on slayer
My weakling killa delt 1.2k with multipler so with out it would be 900
42% chance to deal 900 dmg crits is pretty dam good in my book
Also the reason melee lines were so powerful on live is b/c of cc immunity with rd
Look at gown many snares, kbs,staggers and kds we have atm

Just run noskill 6 sorcs group like all dem russian premades, since they have an enormous advantage over BW's anyway currently with gear giving only corporeal and elemental resistance. Atleast dps AM's are having the time of their lives -.-

The slayer has actually a critdamage multiplier tactic, but it's highly unreliable:

"Spellbreaker* " has the same tooltip damage as "Spine Crusher" and you need "power through" to spam it.
This makes you even squishier than "normal" slayers.
The only usefull ability in the path is the wounds debuff, but it's not worth speccing into it just for that.
* maybe Spellbreaker has some crazy stat modifier i don't know and is doing insanely more damage on low thoughness targets than Spine Crusher. But if not, it's just not worth it.

Didn't know they even had a tactic for it, if you could find a reliable way to play around it, it could turn into an extremely good tactic.

This would require your healers to keep you always only at medium life, which is pretty much impossible (particularly on a slayer
).
Imo it is only good with solo "Rune of Absorbtion" spec, so you get some really high crits from the lifetap ability when low life.
But in a group vs group setup i would replace it with something else.

if you wanna go with 3 tank and you may try
1 chosen s+b but set offensive (full discord path high damage /high resistences / stag ; good vs bw bomb and AM dots also help kite togheter with sh pot)
1 BO s+b (must guard the BG that guard the dps)
1 bg s+b set def + heal debuff (guard the dps)
1dok (tell your dok set def)
1 shammy (pot tell your shammy set heal )
1 mara or choppa, you may prefer choppa due to chosen alredy have wounds debuff and also choppa do damage more faster than mara in rotation.
BO should swap guard when ppl focus shammy
so that 2 tanks and 1 dps can go rush when healer are unguarded
It's important that shammy it's set heal, he will heal under guard most of times anyway and also the dok can take shammy heal while stay between him an others party member while they rush crating a bridge.
Just make sure shammy kite in circle instead run away in 1 direction.
the chosen aoe wounds debuff + stag and with 2 heal debuff (with choppa) you should be able to fast swap target and kill even with only 1 dps
