The time it takes to obtain Sc-Weapons and RR40 is fine. I agree that Scs/RvR and quests should give more experience.
Pretty much always afk or tabbed out.

I started fresh 2 weeks ago and I'm already rr40 99.99% with 100 or so emblems. All while working 50 hrs a week. How is that a grind?

If the "grind" at this point is too much for you, you should A) sit back and evaluate how you spend your time in game. Do you zerg ride all day, which is terribly inefficient? Do you actively try to fight in zones where you have AAO? B) Just forget about it and play with your friends and enjoy yourself. Before you know it the "grind" will be over.

I leveled with rats and was RR 14 when I was 26 and I didn't feel like I wasn't underpowered. And the SC weapons aren't exactly necessary for some classes, the green renown gear is great if not better.

This. I don't care about SC emblems/weapons or RR, but make leveling easier please. All us altoholics will very much appreciate it.

if u dont want grind - go play moba. This is mmo and grind should be exist. Especially if it is a pvp grind.

I am on the opposite, the xp grind is not so bad for me, i have fun queuing scs from level 1 and turning in kill quests, gives good money and a decent xp rate.

However i am very much against tying the commom rvr gear like sc weapons and rvr sets behind absurd grinds.

Those should be the gear that anyone who spends time in rvr should be using, if you want to put gear behind retarded grinds, find something else that is not the rvr set and the sc weapons, at the current cap for example "of the weird" items, purple ones would be the best, not much of a stat gain and would let people satiate their "progression" thirst.

**** up everyone because some people want progression is a big no no however.

If there were plans to wipe after alpha, then a general grind reduction should be applied, imho.
But, since there's no wipe planned after alpha / beta, it's understandable that grinding elements are present.
On the other hand, lots of times big problems that have taken place in RoR have their roots in the grind. Remember the night when RvR sets were released? Order simply xrealmed to Destro because the set cost was so high it was more profitable to just change chars and follow the snowballing zerg.
