Warrior Priest Melee Support Thread.

To be 100% honest, the best advice I could give anyone thinking of playing WP in melee, either as DPS or healing, is to not bother and wait for experimental mode to return, or some other patch which makes it viable again.

it's tank wp, i'm running this only for heals, helping tanks
dps is not my interest, zero
i do melee for RF generate, 50 per SR

last tactic is aoe detaunt, oh it's 2h build with full armor tali, tough gears
3 merc + armor jewelry set = 3k armor w/o any buff
reduce crit, disrupt/dodge rr

hit aoe HoT, single HoT b4 fight then follow tanks
Sigmar's Radiance and group heal spam, put aoe HoT on every CD, group cleans
supplication when u can't generate RF
key is the aoe detaunt
waste it and u die
finding right moment is important, based on experience and luck, mostly luck
wait until 3+ melees on you, it won't take long, detaunt then pick SnB tank, generate RF and spam heals
other mdps remain on detaunt, your target SnB tank is out of detaunt but he is less threat than others
Divine Assault/Sigmar's Shield is desperate heal, only use on dead or alive situation
Martyr's Blessing for blob fight, out of group heal
your adversary is KD, rpds, kite and mdps pop after your detaunt

this wp is walking taunt machine, give others a room for action
it doesn't work in premade, too much CC, can't generate RF
it works fine in pug if your team have melees
and little different playstlye in orvr( stay behind tanks just few steps back, moving with them as supporter )
it works 200% when u have guard

wp detaunt effect is one of the best IMO, sometimes it feels like giving courage to weak minds
repel evils with sigmar's light!

fyi, i'm rr45+ it works, before and after ex mode
