2 faction game:
one side wins 92 to 98% of all final city results, other factions wins 2% to 8%
working as intended, move on.
no wait dont move on yet, let's nerf the 2% faction, and buff the 98% faction
now we are done, move one.

Re: do we have a balance problem?
You cant count won city, need to count instances won, if its 6-5 each time its not really 98%.
Destro still have more premade wbs to make it destrowin

Re: do we have a balance problem?
I don't play anymore, but I happened to glance at the forum by chance on a boring night. I played for about a month last year. Made it to 40/53 or something along those lines, and then I gave up and quit. During that month of play, destro had a 100% win rate in all forms of meaningful high-end PvP that I was able to participate in. That's not an exaggeration. I entered something like a dozen city sieges in that month and all of them, without exception, were spawn-camping fiestas where order didn't even have the opportunity to contemplate possibly challenging destro. Same went for all major RvR battles and whatnot, literally all were utterly dominated by destro. Everything.
The entire time that I played, order was in a perpetual state of "do we keep playing or just quit?" Every single person that I made friends with ended up quitting, and then I did as well. Anytime we tried to voice these concerns, we were met with a wall of "JuSt RuN pReMaDeS" from destro players who had been here for six years with maxed-out characters who farmed us all day, every day. So we stopped playing, each and every one of us, without exception. All of us. It wasn't worth our time. We were being trolled.
One hundred percent of meaningful high-end PvP (i.e. not mid-level scenarios and **** like that) was won by destro for the month that I played, so I quit because it was pointless to play. Who's going to play a game where after a month they have a zero percent win rate in anything that matters? I notice, by the way, that the population has dwindled from 3500 to 500 in the six months since then.
That's all I came to say. Take care.

Re: do we have a balance problem?
Don't expect to ever win end game PVP until you have atleast vanquisher gear, fully slotted with +23 talismans, invader or best in slot (depends on class).klarsen wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 4:43 am I don't play anymore, but I happened to glance at the forum by chance on a boring night. Then you will need to be in a organised 2-2-2, 24 man premade with discord, a leader, a main assist, a single target group.
Queueing city solo is basically banging your head against the wall and you should expect it to go horribly, this is a team game and requires co-ordination.
Re: do we have a balance problem?
Noone's going to play a game where a full month of investment yields a zero percent win rate in anything that matters. I expect this is why this server's population has dropped by 80% in the six months since I first tried it. It wasn't worth my time, and evidently many others felt the same.

Re: do we have a balance problem?
All the statistics could tell us is that order are worse than destro, it doesn't imply there is some massive imbalance that makes destro objectively stronger.Ninjagon wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 1:42 pm Many players here are playing RoR for years. So do not talk or even pretend bullshit: There is a major and longstanding unbalance issue.
- Destruction dominates all aspect of the game.
- The gap is getting bigger.
Just face it and do not talk nonsense. Statistics don't lie.

Queueing as an order 24 premade? If not, then you should stick to roaming in a group of 6 or less to get the most out of the game in my view.klarsen wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 4:51 am Noone's going to play a game where a full month of investment yields a zero percent win rate in anything that matters. If every time you step outside your apartment building you get mugged by a large mob of thugs, do you devote your life to organizing a local militia or move to a different part of the city where there aren't mobs of thugs outside of the apartment buildings?Bloodmasked wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 4:55 amQueueing as an order 24 premade? I chose to move. In other words, I saw a broken server that wasn't worth my time.
Take care.

I wonder if your city instances looked anything like this?

Re: do we have a balance problem?
Highly doubt this one exception is the rule that consistently generates a high 50s/70s win rate for Destrowargrimnir wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 5:17 am I wonder if your city instances looked anything like this?

Don't you find it odd that Destro's "skill" and "organization" declined significantly after morale bombs were nerfed?Bloodmasked wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 4:54 am
