That could work well, making the SM/BO a sort of counter to one of the other realms tank. So a decision would have to be made by a group when picking their 2 tanks for whatever setup. Which is ultimately what you want, real choices being made between what classes you want in your comp instead of just 1 knight 1 IB always.

Why not just tack on 10% crit as one of the possibilities for NB and the orc equiv? They can debuff and buff by 10%.

Just I am afraid of how central crit is to the meta, esp with TB not making it into the game.

This just convinced me that a -10% (15 sounds more balanced but i dont want people to complain or cry OP) AoE crit debuff would be awesome for WAAAGH/Black Orcs/SMs.

Not sure what skill i would use on SMs for this though.

Well Az will have to clarify about TB, but the little birds in /advice seem to parrot that a lot.

Hmm. Using Crushing Advance for something so critical goes against the 2H ethos of SM by making it so that you'll always have to run a shield.

Phoenix's Wings.

BOOM. SM is viable and wanted in groups.

Yes but doesn't that say something about the state of the game where a crit buff/debuff being added to a class suddenly takes it from bottom tier to usable? If that is really the case anyways.

Sounds much easier than nerfing Sorcs/BWs/KotBS.

I will just state my thought again regarding TB: give Initiative a scaling anti crit dmg component - profit.
