Re: Client download issues and troubleshooting

Hello, (I posted this elsewhere, but I think it should have been here.) I have recently downloaded all the parts of the Direct Download as well as the launcher.

I have placed the "Age_of_Reckoning_client" files (.z01 through .z09) in a separate folder to house them for now. But even before this, I am having a bit of trouble.

I am trying to extract the zip file using winRAR, but it is asking me to "insert disk" (Here is a picture of what it looks like: https://gyazo.com/7c03ea342ecb89845104f5288e6d6027) I was wondering if I am doing something incorrectly? Should I be adding the .z01 files somewhere? Is there a place that these instructions exist, but I'm too dumb to find them?

I thank you in advance for your help, ladies and gents. :D

ok so I've tried everything to get this to work and it still hasn't any tips? I've downloaded the torrent and put them all in the same folder. Is there anyway I can get this to work?

We need a one button installer for us technically challenged people like they did for a certain other game.

This is the error I get when I try to run the game. Then the game starts anyway, but doesnt connect to the private server, I just get teh screen wit the credits, cinematic, setting and quit buttons at the bottom. I used to play RoR, and wanted to come back to it. But it seems impossible. Ive downloaded the client and all files and the RoR launcher and put it in the main game folder near warpatch. I dont know what else to do. Am I missing a sys file?

If you still have the old game on your computer then just swap out the data.myp file if you don't I believe you can download the first of the set of five and get the uncorrected file and swap it out. That's how I did it

I get this whenever i try to log in the game, first time downloading it and doing everything from the instructions. I moved the files from the torrent after it was unzipped to another folder onto my desktop. Idk if that has anything to do with it considering i'm not as tech savvy as you guys are. But please help, Warhammer was my first online MMO RPG and i completely love it. I'd like to get back to playing it :) please help ASAP

Hi guys,
I have the same problem as Dirtyz on my laptop.
Its kinda funny because on my desktop it works totally fine. But now I am at my inlaws´s house and downloaded the torrent version of the game, dlled your launcher and when I try to login it shows error message. I did the exact same thing as I did home, where it worked; now it doesn´t

EDIT: I´ve tried just now to download the five-part direct download of the client and it works like a charm.
So it looks like there might be a "fresh" problem using the torrent download client and I would recommend to use the direct dl.
Hope it helps
