Wl is an ap-starved class. Using that channel does mediocre damage, and depletes AP. If you are challenged, you can still pounce - cleave limb and an AA - removing challenge, and you haven't even done your burst rotation yet.

Thanks for proving my point. Your way requires two target switches... 4.5 seconds of cd. My way dps the prime target... no target switches and in 1.5 seconds I can force op out of the spin challenge cleared..delivering an aa.. for 53 ap... your way takes 75 as well. L2p

I'm a big fan of my WL, though I've heard people mention some lore inconsistencies in the game. Anyone know where I can read more lore on WLs?
Also, lots of people say that there will be class balancing after t4 release. Anyone have any ideas what might be changed?

Main differences as I understand them to be are that a WL is meant to be more of a tanky class, rather than a burst damage one, and that they generally don't have a lion as a pet, but instead wear their mane after killing one as a rite of passage.Smallergriff wrote:I'm a big fan of my WL, though I've heard people mention some lore inconsistencies in the game. No-one knows what balance changes are in store. I don't think the Devs have a firm plan for this yet, as first they need to deliver a stable t4 before they can even consider any balance changes.

Re: [White Lion] The White Lions of Chrace
Hi, again. I am curious about WL Renown Passives and how I should distribute my points. My primary focus has been Opportunist (melee crit), but I am wondering if there other passives worth considering or where I should stop pointing points into crit? Weapon Skill and Parry seem very useful, but I'm not very sure.
In addition to that question, I was wonder how much armor penetration and strength a WL should aim for (both in current state of game and 40 when t4 is released). Are there any softcaps I should look out for?

Re: [White Lion] The White Lions of Chrace
Depends on Your group setup. As WL I would not be focusing that much on weapon sklil since You have force oportunity and You should be fine with basic 25% penetration just from Your items. If You slot all talismans for strenght and use strenght jewelry, with strenght pot or kotbs buff u should be verry close to cap so You dont need invest much renown in to strenght neighter. So what left? Melee crit, parry, dodge+disrubt, cleansing wind or resolute defence.Smallergriff wrote:Hi, again. I am curious about WL Renown Passives and how I should distribute my points. If You play with kotbs+IB, they can provide You +30% melee crit(10%+strenght buff from IB, 10% from kotbs aura and another 10% from tactic proc when he block). If U use devastator set + empire inf belt, You have base 8% crit, so if You invest another 30 renown points in to crit U can end with 47% crit chance. I would rather invest 15 points in to crit(5%), 10 resolute defence, 10 cleansing wind, 4 parry, 1 doddge/disrubt, but thats me.
RoR has some good WL players(mostly live veterans) so I would ask them.

May I ask if anyone is having difficulty with their pet keeping aggro on mobs? Only 13 but even when my pet strikes first, I still manage to peel the mob off of it, and the taunt it has doesn't seem to assist?

Proper aggro is still not implemented. Might be a little while before it is since t4 is coming and pvp is a bigger focus.Wtfux wrote:May I ask if anyone is having difficulty with their pet keeping aggro on mobs?
