But SnB chosen can do that too with blast wave

I mean look you can play what ever way you want, having fun is what matters but I'm just being real 2h chosen is no where near as good nor as much utility as SnB chosen late game with the tri spec

Cleave is also good if they're using a Morale that increases block or parry chance, since is undefendable, if I'm not mistaken, yes? I think there is that MDPS m1 that gives them guaranteed parry chance for 7 secs? Situational at best, I guess.

Yep. Plus targets like DW slayer and WH tend to have high parry anyway.

Question regarding future t4: Destined for Victory is one of the best tactics around, yeah? And it only procs on block. Is it good enough to make SnB Chosen so much more viable that 2h Chosen truly becomes irrelevant? Or will my 2h-toting ass still be useful come t4? I figure it's a long way off anyways so shouldn't worry too much, but am curious.

I'm not seeing a reason to run 2h over s/b once Destined for Victory is available. You could still get Crippling Strikes I guess but with only blast wave to proc it in an aoe, it wouldn't be very good.

Tanks like any other support class: Only usefull aslong as they stay alive, It's pretty much the same deal as with healers. They can go spec for healing power, but they will drop in 2 sec if they do. Same with tanks if you spec em full of str and dps tactics. Dps get a bit of free pass on this, coz without em you can't kill anything, they pretty much need to be glasscannons, and healers and tanks are meant to support and keep them up. In t4 what you gonna see is a masisve dps increase. If your group comp is dureble enough for you to go 2hander then go for it. But be prepared to get focused alot. And if you drop, the dps is gonna drop aswell and your group is gonna be left with a bunch of healers alive that can't do anything by emself. Chosen gets a bit of a free pass on 2hander specs thanks for CS and Supression. It's by far the moast dureble 2hander tank together with Swordmasters.

Here's the problem

2h chosens are not viable in grps because SnB chosens are far better but unlike kotbs it's not viable to run 2 chosens in a group because the class does not have as many strong must have auras and tactics

Haha, chances of that happening I feel are slim. Unless Parry proced it only wielding 2her?

Also, what makes SnB chosen so much more viable? Is it just the increased survivability? I don't feel particularly squishy, and I deal decentish damage. Or is Downfall really that good? I know Destined for Victory is a big part, obviously.

And slightly unrelated question: is any 2h tank viable compared to SnB tank at t4? I really enjoy the idea of 2h tank, being a tank while still helping a bit on the damage train, but it seems like everyone says SnB is clearly superior on all classes.

Imo they are viable, but group needs to be more dureble then the stanadard setup. if one of your dps is a DoK for example i can see one tank goin 2hander build for example. The extra heals from DoK lifetaps would make up for loosing some of the sheild utillity. And the extra dmg from 2hander Chosen would make up for the fact that you have a dps healer in your group.

This about utility

This about destined for victory this is about being able to use immaculate defense, distracting bellow, spout carapace of any other powerful morale every time it's off cool down

You see how fast you see me block dat for Bo generates morale and that only 144 morale per block, compare that to 200 from chosen

And you want to drop that and say they are viable? On what grounds? Dps? Then why no Bg with it's extremely high crit chance? Along with the highest armor and wounds debuff after Mara along with willpower buffs for healers? Why not BO the hardest hitting tank on destro?

SnB tanks are better than 2h tanks because snb tanks can do pretty much everything that 2h tanks can do while having more utility and survivability

Ah, I see. Well, hopefully the devs see fit to buff 2her a bit come t4. Until then, I will enjoy the spec and prepare myself for abandoning it in favor of SnB
