you are simply wrong. I have played wow. I have played gw2. The "casual" pvp is still sometimes premades vs pugs but it is much more balanced do to the que being based off of a role system. Each team gets a certain number of healers and dps. Like i have said before that is imo the solution to our pug stomp problem. Having a role based que. IDK how hard that is to code but it would make the SCs 1000% more balanced and the fights in them more enjoyable for both sides.

We simply can not cater to what is really just bad play. Its a group based game based around working as a unit. If pugs are either too bad, too lazy, or lack the understanding to do this themselves they need to be shown how and making it impossible to not be in a balanced, or at least some what balanced group would fix that in the long run.
Voice communication and being used to playing with the same people will still trump PUGs in a balanced composition.

If joining a scenario solo is "bad play" than why does solo que even exist?

you /lol me when you beat a WH on a deftard chosen w/ sorc buffs and you had you use potions lol, not something to be really proud of btw.
What ad hom are you talking about? i haven't insulted you. I presented an argument explaining that WAR is a group PvP game meant to be played as a group and people should't try to change it just because they are too lazy.

That's like playing a fighting game and asking devs to give you a button that auto-combos for you because you are too lazy to learn how to combo.

Or playing a Survival horror game and asking the devs to give you infinite ammunition because there are very few bullets.

Or playing a platforming game and asking devs to let you fly because you are bad at jumping.

You are trying to change how this game was designed. Maybe this game isn't for you?

It's pretty sad you had to use such a weak ad hom to try and derail the discussion.
I'm sorry about that. Just pointing out that solo, its rough out there.

Tklees has the rub of it. I'm not sure how hard it would be to code balanced groups for SCs, but it would at least force players to have proper (or close to proper) group builds even if they are anti-social most of the time.

Lucca attacked me and not my arguement, and you misrepresented it, even if you where "only pretending to be retarded" or sarcasm.

Shame on you, this is a solo game didn't you know?

We should ask the devs to make all buffs self-only.

as some people here have said, it shouldnt and yes voice coms and a whole guild premade still will beat most pugs but not all. Plenty of good players solo que. Having SCs pop only once all the roles are met would truly balance them. Because even in a premade vs premade fight lets be real heal. Some guilds are simply better than others and it is like fighting pugs to them.

It would be better of course, but premades will still stomp pugs, just have a slightly less easier time. You guys are underestimating the power of voice communication and group synergy that comes from playing with each other for any amount of time.

Just giving randoms a balanced comp is not enough to stop them from getting dunked on.

My question is this then:

Why wouldn't the player who really likes this game then figure out a way to get into a regular guild or regular group? If it's not fun getting stomped, and the solution is to get in a regular group and play as a team, then why not? If you don't want that, then why play the game?

The problem isn't with the player, it's with the flawed game design that allows premade groups of players to play against solo casual players.

That player who joins the guild/regular group just goes from sheep to wolf.

The problem IS with the player. He has all the tools at his disposal to become a wolf, yet he keeps asking the devs to make all the other players "sheeps".

I assert you have that backwards.

The build of the classes in the game dictates how the game will be won. The game is won by groups who best coordinate and work together to achieve a goal; be that goal kills or flags or keeps etc.

The way the classes and group dynamics were designed, in my opinion, are like the rules for the game. You are asking for an exception to the rule for those unwilling to play by the rules.

It's tantamount to asking the NHRA for an all electric class for the Winter Nationals. Just because you have a car, doesn't mean you get to race, or will be competitive.

EDIT: Let me rephrase that. Just because you chose to own an electric car, doesn't mean the NHRA rules need to be changed so that you will be competitive.
