Client download issues and troubleshooting

You most certainly have not followed all the guides on here, or else your problem would be solved.

So i have the client downloaded. Downloaded 7-Zip to open the file since i am using windows 10. I open the file with 7-Zip and all that happens is a window opens up for a split second then closes. Not sure what to do.

edit: There are two versions of 7-zip. Maybe i installed the wrong one?

Just wanted to follow up on my issue; After about my 300th try I realized that I was mostly (95% of the time) getting user/pass errors and not [nothing happening] errors, so since I've never even made a character "I figured why not make another account and give that a try?". Worked first shot. So, perhaps there's an account DB issue going on? Easy fix for me since I hadn't started yet, but totally not acceptable for someone with existing characters.

exact same problem. Try to open with winrar and it says archive is unknown format or damaged. Thanks for all of your help btw

I suggest downloading the game client via a torrent.
