Authentication Error FIX!

Deleting the RoRLauncher.exe and then immediately restoring it from recycle bin temp fixes this issue for me.

I have to do it before every session.

Any idea what would cause this, or a more permanent solution?

Ok that was working...but now it's not. I'm not able to log in. Please help :/

i guess i tried everything already for the last 12 hours

tried CyberGhost, got server window, but keep looking for battles, connecting to server, timing out etc.
only this made a difference

IPv4 hosts can't talk to IPv6 ones.
IPv6 _can_ talk to IPv4
i guess this is the point,

Seems like this issue is happening to a lot of people - One option I Would suggest is using a VPN.

Step 1) First launch Cyber Ghost 5; select UK from the "Simulated Country" drop down on the bottom left, leave "Simulated IP Address" on the bottom right as Automatic, and then click the "power" button on the bottom middle to connect.

Step 2) Open and log-in with RORLauncher

Step 3) Once you are on the server selection screen, switch over to Cyber Ghost 5 (or whatever VPN service you are using) and disconnect. When connected it may say timed out

Step 4) Go back to the game and click the "Select" button on the server selection screen and it should connect without an issue.

This finally worked for me. Does this mean that our IPs or potentially our entire ISPs are blacklisted?

I have an empty character screen and a blank window when trying to log in. Once in a blue moon I get in.My patieance is over .Good luck with your project. I dearly hope you don't piss other players off as much as you have me.

Just FYI update, for anyone who is having login issues and connects by phone internet. .

My particular problem turned out to be that I had to use PDANet to tether, as my phone's native tether was locked out due to %$#*ing embedded carrier settings on an otherwise unlocked phone. Short of reloading entire OS, was stuck using PDANet, and that apparently was a problem, likely as it has a third party certificate.

That phone fell dn went boom. New phone has full native tether ability and. . . BAA-BOOM! Can login over phone's native tether.

Might not be your issue if you have one. YMMV.
