Re: Changelog 31.01.2016
If your goal is to remove gold from circulation I would suggest adding cosmetic gear/mounts on npc's which cost hundreds or thousands of gold and would be unattainable elsewhere in game. The richest of the rich always like to show off their wealth and it would be one effective solution for battling the inflation.

That reminds me - dual spec, anyone?
What makes you think so? Unless whole system changed in a non-grind way.peppex91 wrote: I guess when full game will be released, free market will handle himself without any help.

Re: Changelog 31.01.2016
The major problem that hurt live (1.4.8) and is hurting RoR is lack of buying power with money, money doesn't do much for you. Potions are the only consumables where Talisman's are a one purchase investment.
The economy will become more balanced when Guilds can claim keeps, and people can use money to buy wood and Seige equipment. The cost of seige equipment needs to be relevant to the economy, and a wipe over x gold is needed before establishing the ability to claim keeps.
These are the changes that will aid your economic problem, and the minimum wage needs to be adjusted to relevancy when these are added.
I think there needs to be incentive to players for spending money on there things as well, Successfully defending a claimed keep grants a bonus to guildies/ Alliances defending the keep (this coud be loot bags)
Bringing the ram or warmachines to the keep area likewise will grant bonuses to loot rolls for bags on successful attacks. It's an easy way to get the rich to spend their money on the thing that is most relevant to this game: PvP.

Agree. At the moment I don´t understand the motivation of some people to sell regulary stuff at AH (talisman and potion), because gold is practically useless if you have a decent amount of it (around 500?).Gobtar wrote:The major problem that hurt live (1.4.8) and is hurting RoR is lack of buying power with money, money doesn't do much for you. Sorry, but the gold gain is not exponential, if the gold value gained from completing a quest increased with each hand-in than it would be, but it doesn't, it's a static amount.
In fact the gold gain slows down once you hit Tier 3 due to Kill/Death rate of Pugs.

Instead of being thankful for the job these VOLUNTEERS are doing people have to slam them for a decision they made. The developers could decide they don't want everyone on their server that they are working extremely hard at restoring.
So next time you decide a change is made that doesn't fit your expectations, maybe you should take a step back and think about your response. Let's face it suggesting that anyone who voted to implement the kill quest change should be let go is not a reasonable suggestion.
To all of the developers: Thank you for the great job you are doing in order for us to enjoy this game again. Just remember that not everyone in this thread hates you.
Great job again.
Entitlement is expecting something for nothing and berating people for disagreeing with something is childish.
Childish, no. What is childish is suggesting that the developers who voted to make the change be released.
And yes, entitled. Disagreeing is fine but as some have gone past the normal disagreement phase.

Almost every russian on that server knows english.
We do not say anything, when people in chat start to speak on their native language. Buth when we start to use our own we getting "Slavrunes" "Ignore that idiots" and etc.

As I said - we sometimes speak russian in advice chat. But most of the time it's english. You see, problem here is that we have a cyrilic alphabet and you, guys, seems to be triggered every time you see it. We as much "integrated" as germans, italians, finnish people or polish.

I for one thing would say that /advise was THE chat everyone used to talk, chat and trade for about 3-4 years while RU-realms were still up.
Really doubt that many of my comrades would be willing to change that and move to /8 overnight unless banning occurs.

It's already occurring. A command exists to block players from using Advice, which I use liberally.
Re: Changelog 31.01.2016
I find it quite sad that it's actually come to needing another channel, the amount of **** that the Russian community has to put up with from most of the players on this server is quite frankly appalling, it happens daily with what appears to be little moderation, silly really considering that without you guys the server would lack in population.Scrilian wrote:I for one thing would say that /advise was THE chat everyone used to talk, chat and trade for about 3-4 years while RU-realms were still up.

Maybe now when someone decides to speak in their native tongue it won't be met with such hate.
