Client download issues and troubleshooting

Ok, but when I try I see this same what krau post on this picture. What is wrong? I downloaded game from this page and also have installed original WAR with patch 1.4.8.

DONT install the game from the DVD/Disc! Throw them away! fast!

Hi Guys,

I have been trying to get this to work all day now ) I have browsed through alot of the comments and I am stuck now at the stage where the launcher, when I click connect, prompts me with this error message:

"You need to stop application currently using the following file: data.myp"

I have removed read only a million times and it still auto assigns everytime as well as moving the torrent download from my "download" dir to Program files x86 dir

Any suggestions one what I can do next?

Sure did I am checking now why win7 won't let me manually unshade the Read only box - Currently I do it, close properties and it re enables on its own. No luck yet finding a solution

run launcher and war.exe as administrator (properties/compatibility when right clicking on the file)

Ok. I dwonloaded game. Have them in "downloads" folder in my documents. Now click "add to Warhammer Online age of reckoning.rar" ?

Once you've downloaded the parts, double click on age_of_reckoning_client and extract the the game.

Still not working - I know i have to set the read me to off but everytime i try it returns the read only attribute - nothing online to explain how to remedy this :'(((

I still don't know how install this game. It's on my disc in "downloads folder"... And in torrent.
