Order won because of "sheer perseverance" and superior intelligence.
Not because destro had 120 % AAO...
Don't be so salty. Just say: Good fight! seeya in the lakes!

Just try it. ;)
I don't feel salty tbh. Like I already said, I didn't took part in the fights in KV.
But from what people said in the thread, destro was outnumbered anyway.

Also I find it low to make a thread about order being the first to do something in the game, particularly if that's not true.
Like Haojun said, destro made it first, even if the campaign was bugged and then reseted. I was there this time.
But there was no bragging topic created by destro players...
Same as we were outnumbered at the siege. If you weren't there leave it up to the people who were there and organised the defense to pass judgement on the night?

Anyhow, I still think Destro is doing great and we have to struggle to defend our zones. Great! But when we are starting to coorperate better it pays off. Surely we can celebrate a bit.

I'll just drop this in here.

It was Destro defending Caledor that made the dev team realize it was mathematically impossible to recapture a lost keep. They held the zone at max VP for ~90 minutes.

Then how was it possible that during the day of patching the keep recapture to the server, we had a successful keep return in T3 2 hours after patch?
Patch comes, 30-40 min after Destro starts pounding keep in Saphery, kills lord, most destro vanish as they do not bother reading patch notes. 20 order staying in zone grow to 40 and later to 60 order, we control all BOs, we wait circa 45-50 min and the lost order keep turns back blue.

The Caledor failure was circa 2 weeks after this.

You're asking me questions like T3 matters for bragging rights.

At some point a VP requirement was added (or maybe it was omitted from mid-tier because meh), no T4 zones had been flipped based on the time factor alone before then. Destro would have done it first, had the VP maths not been impossible to accomplish.

This was of course known all along.
The point here has in fact not been the lock or the server first at all. The point has been to test the players of the server during a weeklong campaign following in the wake of the KV lock. Many experiements and investigations have borne fruits; these will be shared in an appropriate venue, at a proper time.
It has been a point to test Xrealming and its effects. To see the ebb and flow as it happens, to mold and shape it as it occured.
It has been a point to see the responses of the enemy. To check the level of coordination at any given time.
It has been a point to establish Timezone Occupancy and how to best wage nonstop war around the clock.
It has been a point to discover and investigate exploits and gamebreaking abuses, especially in regards to RvR lakes, and the dents in morale and participation any tampering in this field would cause. More about this later as well.
It has been a point to raise Order to a level of competition that everyone can be satisfied with and proud of. We acchieved great succes where none was thought to be had. On that note, it is interesting to see the response from Destro side; swift and brutal retribution for days on end. US order is feeling it the worst; I'm honestly concerned US Destro is overdoing their retaliation :) Hang in there, Avo!
Finally, it has been a point to test these very forums, where so many have come to Salt the Earth. No more on that matter. You know who you are. Your works have been noted. Your myths are being dismantled in front of your eyes, whether you want to reckon or not.

Thanks to Commissarg, Sybella and anyone else who got invested. Thanks to Haojun and Phalanx for being the best opponents in the world, and thanks to the staff for letting us play such Wargames. Much obliged :) Now we rest.
