Being force to respec into melee because of meta spec isn't fun as a range class. While no need to buff rSH aoe on par with mSH, just abit changes to make rSH more viable in aoe.
Hope this will make more sense and isn't much of a major revamp.
This. They might as well say switch to another toon. Sure you can be expected to switch a few tactics around, maybe re-spec to get some certain abilities in certain situations, but mSH and rSH have almost no overlap. If you switch from rSH to mSH you replace every skill you have and probably change gear sets and talismans as well plus dramatically change the whole essence of your playstyle. All that just to get a spot in forts?

It is not fair to say that sh is fine because a couple exceptional players in endgame gear can make it work. SW was in the same spot, it was only good with endgame gear and need a change. You claim these select few can top the charts in scenario. SW tops charts in sc's now in ALL tiers buy just average- good players. Play a few matches in t2 you will see SW be top very frequently now. Do I think the Devs need to over power sh and have to dial it back like sw? No, but a few qol changes that have been suggested quite frequently would help average- good players like myself have fun on the range side of this class, and not be forced to meatball to kill anything.

Exceptional players, who? "overperforming" a class with pocket tanks/healers farming solos and pugs?

The game is full of exceptionals players then... balance issues solved

Please read a few previous comments in the thread so you can have some context to the conversation were having. Any class can perform well in orvr with tanks /healers/coms..ect . We were talking about a couple top players doing very well in scenario's.. quite different from stomping pugs/solo's in lakes.

Yea, so you are confused. That speed buff with the pet was removed along with all Torq changes. Pet is slower currently right now than live due to speed training tactic not stacking with charge which it should.

Another thing is the WL pet is about 400 dps on a dummy more if you crit with it and it does not do often. SH pets are fine, if anything the melee one should get speed training but I am sure you guys would not use it.
I don't currently play but 2 or 3 months ago we had the same argument with a guildie and we actually tested it by meeting on the same point and sending the WL pet and SH to the same targets and do you know what the speed buff is still there for the Lion. You can always perform the same test by asking to a SH.

The problem with the pet dmg is that even with crit it is around 400 or less with SH pet. Yet I agree that SH pets are fine dmg wise but the range decrease on ranged pets must be reconsidered.

WL's pets move at the same speed as they did in live. All changes which torq did are gone. The pet should move faster when LF is used, but it is currently not working along with a few other things. SH pet needs speed training, but no SH will use it. I have high RR of both classes.

Some people will never give up hypocrisy. There is always few players that make the class look better than it is due to different factors. There were exceptional good SW players as well before the SW rework (Let me say that I agree that even they got their dps increased to a good amount by reducing them into 65ft they actually ruined the fun of playing that class). The argument of people who doesn't have a clue about the class is that there are two RSH players who make the class better than it actually is. Teefz and Jurki they both play with exceptionally good players (especially their pocket healers) and what they do is to farm ungrouped and thus unhealed targets and reach to some good amount of DBs. Let's also add the fact that these two players are actually hardcore players that always reach to the latest gear months before ordinary players with limited game play time. Additionally, If you check the top ranked player list you will notice that the first 3 destro players in the list are Teefz's playmates actually. There are also other factors such as play time, play time period etc. My SH which I played only for 2 weeks maybe 6 months ago (not exactly sure could be even more) for a few hours each week is still on the 24th place in that list (I was playing mostly as melee and in some of the matches I had Teefz in my group, he was also in melee specl) So that list doesn't prove anything at all. Now please stop hypocrisy and let only experienced SH players to comment. Thank you.
