The retarded ability to jump up into a keep wouldn't be so annoying to me if abilities like Pick Lock worked .. At least then Order wouldn't be the only realm able to get into an enemy keep...

but what good is lock pick if mdps go in and the bottom floor is filled with all those npc mobs?

Witches don't have that issue unless NPC vs Stealth is broken...

yeah but that 1/3

if any other mdps goes in theirs a big safe zone that defenders can stand inside of and if ther try and apply pressure through aoe they will just pull the champ mobs and die

My whole point was that if WL are going to continue to be able to jump onto keep walls implementing Pick Lock will give us at least one class that can do somewhat the same thing.. It will also let WH do it . But at least Destro will have ONE class that can match ( somewhat ) the WL ability to get into a keep and make kills..

It won't help your DPS much but if you know how to use your pet and stack the right tallies + renown abilities you can still be viable support DPS that chases and permasnares an entire team of Destro MDPS with ease. The trees don't matter as long as you know what rotation to use and learn the amazing movement utility of pounce.

Tell you what

play you "support mdps" into t4 and then tell me if you feel your on par with every other mdps in the game

you will realize by the time you reach endgame that you are lack luster, sub par and unwanted for grp

this is the reality of the wl class
I dont know. There was some quiet good WLs on Badlands server and even without incoming heal debuff, they can melt down premade members in seconds when they dont get guard fast enought. I was playing WL on live and get him to rr 90 or so. Sad, but I must admit WL in late T2 and in T3 and T4 was the most mobile MDPS class I ever played on live(I played all of them :-) ) Especialy in T3 I was able to burst down clothies in 2-3gcd when they forgot or dont detaunt fast enought. The damage with lion tree with knockdown was sky high. Yes in T4 when everyone running with full TB killing targets was much difficult, but still did tons of dmg and on single target I would say even better than Slayer.

I was more aware of good played WLs than slayers on my WE. Fetch, Pounce, armor debuff, coordinate strike, perma snare, knockdown insane burst dmg are tools that makes the class verry dangerous and enjoyable for players.

In this state of game pet is still quiet bugy, but even now when I get pounced by one of those tall elves with giant axe, it hurts, hurts a lot!

They are not as good as marauders? Well which class is? Slayer maybe? But that doesnt makes them bad. Theyr AOE is nearly non existent, but theyr single target burst is insane. They got no toughnes or wounds debuff, nor incoming heal debuff but they got tools to stay at your a.ss till they finish You off. OYK WE has also no incoming heal debuf and her toughnes debuff from wracking pains is crap without maxed suffering tree same as BaL + parry speced WH also has no incoming heal debuff or toughnes debuff, he has no pounce or fetch or armor debuff, but nobody whine about that, because even without those tools he can kill fast enought.

Good read vdova. Most people never played with the right tree. Old schoolers remember before leonine was nerfed.. the cat soloed any sorc it hit. Was brutal and hilarious.

Nah all I want to say is, that WL is verry competitive to other classes in terms of single target dmg and otshine them by mobility. He lose some debuffs, but he gets cc. I am sure, that WL needs some tweaking(incoming insted outgoing heal debuff, self 25% dmg buff with no restriction, better pet AI) but class is(or was on live) far from worthless, like someone posted before.
