Maybe to help with the influence problem, what if they increased the influenced earned by say 50% instead of a whole debolster system?

If you think I'm going to create any debolster implementation that allows people to twink, think again. There will be hard limits on every aspect of the game to ensure that no debolstered player can exceed the reasonable power of a player of the maximum rank of the destination tier.

Is it possible to make it so that a chickened player can receive t1/t2 influence in the future?

The debolster with the ekrund event worked quite well, the only issue was lotd weapons and rr90+ gear procs (something we wont see here) and potions.
Your stats scaled down and it was common for a semi geared t1 char to have higher main stats and defense values then a rr100 char debolstered. Also you were debolstered to lower then the level cap for tier 1 which gave the upperhand to natural t1 players granted they are not fresh from the starter area.
I think it could work pretty well if done correctly but it seems like something that would barely be worth doing, the only reason i can think off is to get inf or to help a guild member/friend which would not be a common thing at all.

That does sound like a lot of unnecessary coding and work.

It could be idk how much effort it takes to make bolster work but i dont see it being much harder, maybe the packets with ekrund debolster are already discovered idk.

- Avoidance stats are now displayed in the character screen.
- Rested experience has been implemented.
- Fixed an issue causing Bolster to wipe out renown stats.
- Experience, renown and influence gains are shared correctly between group members instead of all warband members.
- Experience from scenario kills is now split according to the correct rules (solo deathblow stealer fix).
- Experience from healing is now correctly split with the group.

[Implemented the following discoveries by Londo:]
- Renown stats of all types are now correctly sent
- The server will now correctly save data regarding the player's configuration that it receives from the client (hotbar/tactic fix)
Really good changes.

It wasn't directed at you, just a comment to the general opinion present in this thread concerning the topic.

How you define reasonable power?
When debolstered players are weaker than equal ranked players in the related tier, why play there when having a disadvantage?
When all have the same available items, farming highlvl players have the advantage.
I personally see no no way to put both sides on equal footing.
Dying is no option.
