The general consensus seems to be that SM is decent at being a tankier MDPS or as a WW bot, but as a whole are more "selfish" tanks compared to KotBS and IB. Yet there are subtle hints at the type of tank a SM *could* be with a little tweaking. DT is a short duration damage debuff on your target. Lingering intimidation in Vaul causes intimidating blow to reduce your targets crit by 25% for 10 seconds. See a pattern? Both hinder your opponents damage, but it's not quite enough to be considered competitive with other tanks. I've got a list of changes I think would make a decent defensively focused SM.
Intimidating blow:
Requires shield. Requires improved balance. Leads to perfect balance.
An overpowering strike that deals X damage and reduces your opponents chance to critically strike by 25%.
Lingering intimidation -> (Some fitting name)
Requires 7 points in Vaul.
Intimidating blow and dragons talon apply their effect to all enemies within 10 feet.
Dazzling Strike:
Also reduces auto attack speed by 50%.
Then some quality of life changes like DT and Eagle's Flight lasting 10 seconds instead of 5.

Balance thread outside of balance forum. I'm sorry, but I have to lock. Wait for the balance forum to open for general usage.
