No secondary Genesis set for Magus/Engi? Missing Undying Set

Is there a good explaination why the Magus and Engi classes do not get a defensive Genesis gear set?

One piece was a available and I bought it with my bag token. Then I found out the other pieces are "red" and not usable. I figured they were a bug and bought those pieces when I could thinking it would be fixed. Now I found out that this is "as intended". Is there a good reason? Thanks for the reply.

Tanks and Melee classes have it. It would benefit close quarter fighting for magus and engi. Especially for rifting. Can it please be considered? Thank you.

A set like this would work great for support class to last I'm the middle of a zero fight. You can't render support if dead. Please do consider it. Tinker engi and granadier would find it very useful.
