Touch of Palsy/Dreadful agony

I've noticed that the ticks for this do not crit. I'm not sure if this was as intended but i think it would be a nice change to have seeing as 2h chosen have a high crit and i don't think it would make the ability TOO useful but still stronger. Also i apologize if this isn't in the right place I'm still trying to figure out the forums. This is also sort of off topic but i was wondering if you guys would consider making dreadful agony able to crit, but without it applying any effects such as the new Crippling strikes mechanic. I think it would make it a better choice in 6v6/smallmans. Again, i apologize if this is in the wrong place and wrong format as I'm still brand new to forums!

This would have no effect in smallscale since the combi is either ap-aura+tough+res or ap+str+res depending on chosen beeing 2h or SnB. The damage it would do even if i would crit would still be irrelevant.

This aura has two uses:
1. PvE mob farming
2. Getting zerg gameplay kill participation on as many people as possible.

Well either way it seems to underperform. I think allowing it to crit would help it to be more useful in various situations, and tbh would make more sense seeing some chosen stack crit.

So what situation would it make the aura more useful? I really can't see a critting Dreadful agony aura beeing more usefull, especially not if it would not apply CS as you suggested. It would just give you a bit more damage, but this damage would not make enough of a difference to switch out ap/tough/res/str aura (see my post before).

Crit stacking on chosen already makes sense, atleast as 2h. Honestly i dont see the need to make that aura beeing abled to crit.

I mean i see what you're saying. The difference wouldn't be THAT significant it would mostly be for PvE as you said, but to me it would still overall make sense. Why have all that crit and an aura/ability that cant crit? Do you at least agree that ToP should be able to crit? Or does this only make sense to me?

So if the Aura would crit and could apply CS with it, we had a 10% aoe crit chance buff, dont you think this would be horrible op?
Oh wait, the Knight has this stuff already (even better to be fair) :lol:

Honestly I wouldnt see this as a problem, but just making the Aura beeing abled to cirt without applying effects with it...
It wouldn't matter much, dont you think?

For Touch of palsy, I think no run-dot can crit here (I could be wrong here, dont know that for sure) and i think it should stay that way. The damage could go into insane highs with some lucky crit procs, also it would be fairly easy to keep CS safely on your target.

It would definitely be great if it spread the 10% crit. But like you said someone will cry OP!

Dreadful Agony isn't a bad aura in large scale. It actually have potential to be really really strong when you start racking up Chosens. Theres 8 tank slots in a warband. Thats 8 potential DA ticks. That adds up to almoast a whole extra free dps class worth of damage.

So when considering boosting skills you gotta take into consideration, what if we add another 8-10 of this thing in the same formation and if they stack with eachother.

Its not one of the more useful auras though, allowing it to crit wouldn't make use see 16 chosen 8 healer bomb warbands ravaging the landscape with their low yield easily healed slow dot dps imba groups.

Touch of Palsy have great importance in 1vs1 (solo roaming) or simply all instances where you assist a mainassist damage dealer. It is however very weak.

It used to be a death penalty at live somewhere in the early days, people literally ran themselfs to death in seconds, so a nerf was needed but as usual Mythic went too far.
