WE/WH stealth is less useful due to ini boom

Hi, was just wondering if the case now where stealth is heavely affected and made "useless" by the fact* that peeps are now boosting their INI because of the parry change, is on purpose or something that developers will be looking into in comning patches?

Can we raise raise the INI vaule needed to spot a stealth toon?

Useless?? Stealth used to be 30s max + you didnt have 2s Instastealth SuperCharge that ignores GCD as well, better Charge than what other melee dd's get? If you Remove 50% Speedbuff from Sancti Oil/Eos and make it Insta Dash to your direction for 20ft and then it is still good skill but doesnt break the "Holy Trinity" Like Imo Shield for wp/dok does like this Charge for we/wh does(imo) Iniative should have this benefit. You take less critical dmg AND do more crit dmg! Max increase is 15% + - to either direction.

We need dmg Tactics like ToB+Flanking+Frenzied Mayhem Stack to 55% Dmg increase Or Revert Frenzied Mayhem back to 15% Crit instead of 25% Finisher dmg. And still in that case Flanking/Tob should be 30% Dmg increase for ALL skills and procs you have. Like Flanking + Vindication should Increase dmg by 50%

yeah ok, so "useless" is a bit harsh - but maybe i'm doing something wrong as I way more often get spotted since the change to INI was made? Is there a way to counter beeing spotted or just not to be in the wrong place at the wrong time...

Moving, especially in front of targets in close range increases the chance to get seen. In general you should have more init than your targets.
Dying is no option.

You're correct. The changes have heavily, heavily damaged stealth. This is sadly only able to felt by people whom actually play the stealth careers and will go widely unnoticed by all others. As a result, a fix for this is probably not going to be forthcoming.

The reality of the situation is that you are going to have to change your mindset with stealth how it is at the moment. You are going to struggle to stealth ambush targets more often than not.

As a result, you need to 'hide convetinally' which you probably should be doing already. Unless someone happens to be running a nameplate Addon, you don't have a massive glaring red plate showing where you are at any given time.

This means you can actually exploit the concepts of cover and concealment to your advantage. Stealth should be used now almost exclusively as a psuedo gapcloser, or simply as a mechanic to pull off your opener.

Sadly, Stealth is busted, on a class that suffered IMO the worst from the WS/INI changes and hasn't been actually decently strong since the Riposte fiasco.

While it most definitely does not help stealth, I don't feel as if I'm getting spotted more often. Since the change, I've only been spotted and damaged in stealth once. All other times that I've been damaged while in stealth was chalked up due to other teammates being near me, which means the enemy has low INI, or they see me and just don't care enough to engage.

Iniative stacking is a myth, noone really do it.
Most ppl run 250-400 (fully buffed) and that is all
Mostly harmless

And for the OP, I don't "feel" like I detect WE's anymore or less than I did prior.
First RR90 Slayer working towards the top of the mountain.I still solo, still run riposte.
