Its really intelligent to do attack DDOS ... poor kids ruined our experience =/

I doubt it is really because anyone has a grudge against RoR. It's more likely we have been targeted simply because the websites here are less well defended than other potential targets out there.

A few people over on Reddit pointed out that today's event could well have been down to a link to us being posted to /r/gaming. That may or may not be true, but I can tell you that we've been experiencing definite attacks prior to today. :P

I can assure you the DDOS'er is reading this, and enjoying himself.

As an owner of T1 then DS3/T3 and now Fiber contracts and a datacenter consistantly since the mid 90's, DDoS attackers get their rocks off by people crying about it. Various users and servers of mine have been dos'd plenty of times over the years, most of it happening in the 90's and early 2000's versus now. I would advice Az & Co to quit talking about it and letting him pull your puppet strings. Do some packet management at your upstream if they'll cooperate and just work it quietly from there.

Don't acknowledge asshats. Your reaction is EXACTLY what he wants/needs.

be polite to each ather and u will avoid much attacks, when u are rude to ather u will get paid. what i see in game or forum ppl are very rude if someone ask something. no wonder ppl make his small revenge.
