Petition for Devastator Set 5pc bonus change

I know this was discussed in another class forum thread but it looked like the discussion just fell dead.

I would move to have the SH/SW "marked" proc changed.

I would also like to have the WL/Mara "corrosion" proc changed.

I think both of these procs are redundant to the core specs the classes already use. As a result, I think most are foregoing 5pc devastator for an additional non-dev 5th crit piece to wear.

with full deva for the armor debuff to make up for the lack of CC and i remeber one funny guy say some thing about going up monstro and specing wrecking ball for AoE mara

I'm not saying you are wrong, but every party with a BO had a similar armor debuff value on demand with no CD yet the armor debuff from Mara was always considered too strong to give up

im pretty sure that full hate bg debuff is higher than BO's cause my crimsone death bg debuffs 1k

having said that maras is higher that both (atm going up to draing swipes gives 1.3k) and its undefendable

my point is, if we always had an armor debuff with similar or higher value than the 5p proc (!), but people always went with Marauder debuff for the higher value, why switch now when all we get is a lower value debuff that is not on demand?

Really can't say something about Mara/Wl. They are good with dev proc (Mara better imho), so i dunno.
But as SW player can say our proc is kinda useless.
Btw I get one thing from this server: only Devs have word here. They are gods, saviors and saints. We are just guests in their house.
Last things which i will do are just pray and hope that they know better.

It would be nice to have a 5pc bonus on the SW/SH that isn't wiped out by existing debuffs and pots. (Same for WL/Mara I assume, although I have an armour debuff but would love it as a proc).

From the SW perspective on alternate options:

Corrosion/Dissolve - yes please, but I understand there may be reluctance to add this.

Clarity - I guess it can help but the SW has low AP costs and already has so many AP tools (Replenishing strikes, hunters ferver, guerrilla training) that it is over marginal benefit (but hey, better than the current no benefit).

Domination - This seems like a good option, small amount of additional dps from toughness drain. No overriding buffs/debuffs. Not a "game changer" but definately a desirable 5pc bonus.

Creeping - This would make the most sense to me from the perspective of a "long range set" that devastator is now intended to be. It would be overriden by other ability snares but I think still beneficial. Almost no potential for long range AOE snares since SW really doesn't have its aoe until level 40 (who runs split arrows with the -30% damage penalty?)

Elusive - This would be game changing. This is probably above and beyond (especially on a SW) what other classes are getting on their sets. I want (but I know I shouldn't have it).

FYI, I'm watching this thread. Don't go thinking that a lack of immediate resolution means that this is being ignored.
