Patch Notes 19/01/2019

[General]

- Attempting to delete a COD mail should now return the mail to sender instead of deleting it.
- When bolster is removed it will now inform you of the fact that your own buffs have been removed.
- Respawning in areas not fit for players will now teleport the player to their capital.
- Pets are once again immune to aoe healing. The underlaying issue is that pets ignore walls and los which means that they can be sent over a wall and kept alive easily by AOE healing. This is not an ideal solution, but it is an issue that has to be dealt with. The other option would have been to let pet take full AOE damage.

[Guilds]

- Standard assignment should now work for sub 40 guilds as well.
- You won't be able to rescue a Standard if it's owner is nearby and alive.
- Due to some issues with the UI previously the .standard playername command has been returned for a short while. If you still have issues with UI after this patch please report it at: https://github.com/WarEmu/WarBugs/issues/13124

[Scenario]

- Force check on server side to see if players are in combat when pressing join SC as to prevent scripts from bypassing the clientside check.

[Abilities]

[Witch Hunter]

Fervor - Restored to live dot damage values but the dot component will do Spiritual Damage

[Witch Elf]

Envenomed Blade - Restored to live dot damage values but the dot component will do Corporeal Damage
Wracking Pains - Changed damage type to Corporeal from Spiritual in keeping with the classes damage types.

[Items]

Belt and Back set items for the following have their missing stats back.
- Redeye, Conqueror, Dominator, Sentinel, Oppressor, Vanquisher

[Quests]

- Forest Foe: Both creatures count now
- Inspiring Confidence: Whole quest line is now available and corrected. Also you won't need any longer to complete quest 'Rate of Attrition' to be able to take the first part of this quest line
- Eaten Away: Whole quest line is now available and reworked
- Allure of Rage: Second part of the quest line is now available
- The Scrying Game: Whole quest line is now available and corrected
- Heart Attack: Whole quest line has been corrected and reworked
- Securing a Future: Added one objective to the first part, and the last part is now available
- Heralds of Defeat: Whole quest line is now available and reworked
- Breaking the Flame: Whole quest line is now available and corrected
- Carrying the Flame: Whole quest line is now available and corrected
- What Lies Within: Whole quest line is now available and corrected
- Bringer of Darkness: Whole quest line is now available and corrected
- Shadow Hunting: Whole quest line is now available and corrected
- The Price of Survival: Last part of the quest line is now available

[Tickets]

[13002] Both keeps in T4 now count
[13112] Bolt Throwers can now be destroyed
[12663] Ferentuil has calmed down and doesn't attack his brothers and sisters anymore
[13123] Battle Brew Backpack won't drop anymore

[13048] The Scrying Game is now correctly set as a quest line

Wish they didnt take aoe damage like they do.

I honestly cannot see the logic in disabling AoE heals on Pets when the problem is completely different thing. How about revert this and make it so, that Pets cannot go on walls? Also, the Pets are really easy to kill anyways, so i dont see the point.

These changes are nothing but absurd.
From announcing of "getting rid of Witch Elf Agonizing Wound spam" to nuking Slice spec option, and now this week "reverting" Envenomed Blade dmg back to live values (they were increased last summer to make midtree more competitive against the classic AW spam - but on live you had far greater dmg modifiers).
If your intent is to prevent AW spam, but then you proceed to nerf both competing options to AW spam, the logic completely eludes me.

Making pet classes less viable for WB gameplay is also another next level mystery. We already knew that BW was top AoE dps on Order, with Engi as 2nd pick. Now Engi becomes worse due to Turrets exploding from limited healing to now getting no group heals. WL was already bad pick, SH another bad pick. Magus has similar issue of pets exploding as Engi, but the difference of dmg output between Sorc and Magus is less wide than the now even more increasing power gap between BW and Engi.

Every pet class is usually subpar in RoR as you have problems keeping it alive. Trying to keep your Turret alive anywhere near a castle is almost doomed to fail.

Afaik this is a Squig and Lion Problem. As I can't send my Turret or pink Horror in an enemy keep. Can't it be solved by somehow adressing Squigs and Lions, or it is allways "ALL" Pets?

sewer/sacellum debolster is... strange.
all stats are reduced but lvl is still 40 so i can use all skills and tactics.
not sure it's bug or intended.
should i bugreport it?

Very noice, no more sneaky gits taking them. Can you share the 'nearby' radius please?

P.s. unrelated but, standard's tactic 'Enhanced Fame' the +5% Influence tactic continues to not work, a GM told team was aware hence no bugreport.

the problem is a little more difficult to find a solution with the pet and the LOS? that with the disable aoe heal is very good. its take time to find the solution

triple stacked, take 3 gdc and with one cleanse u lose all stack :D
BaL hit more than 6k over 9 seconds, don't need 3 stack so compared fervor/eb and BaL is stupid.

make EB corp damage, can be decent but who debuff corp on des ? zeal, pretty difficult to play with the tactic because u need to stay very close of the melee and chosen it's a minor debuff.

Cover debuff, we already have wracking pain (debuff toughness+ws) so it's useless to use EB.

Now we can barely remove EB on our bar.
