I am getting the same thing, I hit connect, it grays out and nothing happens.

So had a third fresh install, this time I also made sure not to mess with GPU texture memory cache, and that seems to have fixed the issue. Fingers crossed this doesn't come up again, and a bit shocked the texture memory may have been the cause, so leaving this here in case anyone else may have set ...

Bit of both honestly, I originally started playing because I am a huge Warhammer Fantasy nerd, but stuck around for the dungeons [love mechanics heavy fights] and the RvR

Will always have to be Witch Hunter, its the class I started WAR with, its the one I read books about (Mathias Thulmann series being a particular favorite), and its the one I try to emulate in other games to varying degrees of success.
