This is not correct though, it the same mindstate why the mechanic was implemented.

I wouldn't agree that's the biggest problem.

It is that players are not incentivized nor given proper tools to fight against the blob.

I had suggested a while ago making purple seeds an exploration achievement - couldn't it be controlled via achievement check how many seeds you already have? I'm pretty sure one could add some kind of invisible token to check the overal amount of seeds on char.

It is also quite confusing that the Rez Rune/Mark was changed to last only 10 minutes while the buff itself persists.
