I'd be very happy with a reset, but not to make the game easier, but to make it harder and give it an incentive: going back to the old campaign, with separate currencies for each game mode (RVR, SCS, etc.), reduced RR gain... making it a challenging MMORPG where there's a real sense of difference ...

What SC system needs most is an incentive system - the so called "carrot".

Originial Reward for Scenarios were SC-token weapons, wich were BiS. So it was worth it to perma queue for scenario, to farm the tokens - to get a BiS weapon.

First things first.
Players are asking for changes here, but be careful what you wish for... imagine your favorite character getting nerfed (maybe again, if you're unlucky). What will many of the players do then? Would you reroll another char? Your new char could get a nerf too. Depends on the nerf ...

Check zone kills - 80% kills are belongs to WL and 20% to all other classes (Orda + Destro)

It does not mattare what Level, Skill or Equipment WS have, it excel all other classes.

As OP wrote - I agree. Cities are here for 2 years and there are lot of players playing open zones only. I played 25-30 cities maybe? Only 2 of them were fun to play, but what should I do if I want to progress and get better eq? For me it is pointless to play content which I do not enjoy. Even if ...
