this isn't really true. you can just look at titles most players are at some stage of sov, Also doesn't help that even winning these sc's sometimes will only net about 3k renown due to the other team giving up. Edit: My last four SCs had a total of five deathblows. Maybe I'm just getting unlucky ...

When you give people priority, then the queue will die for a big margin of players. We already had the problem with ranked, where people sit in queue for hours, while others, no matter what class, had frequent sc pops, since their MMR was matching better with the rest of the team.

Engineer is rDD and only has a melee snare. Why do you expect to get a gap closer or range snare on WP?
You have a melee snare.
Work together with others to catch kiters, when you miss to engage them in melee range.

Improving MM is no easy task and might be a futile endeavor, since you can't just summon archetypes missing in queue. Give players information, that's all it takes.
