I was the GM of a Destro guild, "Plain Lazy" on Karak-Azgal but stopped playing shortly before the introduction of Lands of the Dead. Good to see a few of us still playing here

I think daily server maintenance/reboots would help for the time being until a solution is found. Isn't Mandreds lord still bugged from yesterday evening currently for example?

If you used Mega then reinstall from scratch, you just have to unpack the first file last, for some reason if you do it in order it coves up some essential files.

Or use the Torrent method instead and you don't have this issue. Your choice.

How did you install the game, Mega or Torrent? If Torrent, R-click the game directory and make sure the folder is not "Read-Only". Also run the Launcher as Administrator.

You have to remember Avast will update itself all the time, so yes while it might not have been a problem for the last year the version of Avast installed now is not the same version of Avast that you had last year

I would be looking at your own desktop/system rather than assuming it is the game at fault. Check/update your drivers, check your eventviewer for any crash logs, try playing with any firewall/AV disabled, try a system restore to an earlier point when it worked etc. Other than that try experimenting ...
