It's not an issue since AAO is better than having numbers. Not everybody are a shallow RR wh0re. I, for example, play to enjoy gameplay, teamwork etc. etc. It's way more fun if the sides are of similar strength than AFK sitting at some NPC rolling RR points, everywhere else being a red sea you can ...

That's kinda tricky. X-realming is evil... But what if you want to try a destro class? Without x-realming you will have to delete all your order characters and vise versa. On live you could make a char of the opposite faction on another server but here it's not possible. 1 hour cooldown on switch ...

For shure there is a reason why such a giant as EA with its financial and human resources refused to continue. But it could be a business reason (the game had small revenues or didn't have at all), or a personal. or a creative reason... They didn't invest in it - no new servers and few new content ...

IMO The good from exposing cheaters/exploiters in a player vs player game/competition dwarfs the bad from having the risk of someone being wrongly on that list temporarily. Typically timed bans or minor offences aren't worth the trouble but we talk about dupers, cloners or players running modified ...
