Guarden of Qu'aph (Patch Notes 18/6/2020)

Whilst in The Garden of Qu'aph you may challenge players or groups of your allied or enemy realm to duels. Once the person or group you have challenged accepts the duel you will be permitted to enter the arena and the battle will begin 30 seconds after all participents have entered the arena.

You may duel a player by right clicking on a friendly players unit frame or you may use the /duel command whilst targeting them.

Dueling commands you may use:

/duel - Challenges the target to a duel (same as /duelchallenge)
/duelaccept - Accept a duel challenge
/dueldecline - Decline a duel challenge
/duelcancel - Cancel an outgoing challenge
/duelsurrender - Surrender an existing duel

When wanting to initate a group vs group duel you must be the leader of the group and challenge the leader of the other group to a duel.

- Region (/1) and Region RvR (/2) channels in The Garden of Qu'aph will be cross-realm when on the upper-deck of the arena.
- /say and /shout chat channels will be cross-realm whilst on the upper-deck of the arena.

Combat is not permitted in The Garden of Qu'aph unless it is with a player you are currently dueling. You should not be able to attack any other player whilst in the arena. In the upper-deck if you engage in combat then the Qu'aph Protectors will deal with you. You are however premitted to practice combat with the training dummys. You will not be permitted to enter the arena unless you have challenged someone to a duel. Leaving the area whilst a duel is in progress will be the equivalent of you surrendering.

The upper-deck provides a excellent view of ongoing duels.

You may travel to The Garden of Qu'aph from the flightmaster for the cost of 1 gold piece (under "Land of the Dead"). Additionally Qu'aph has ordered his servants to travel to Altdorf and The Inevitable City and provide a portal for players to access The Garden of Qu'aph.

How to add/install AddOns

2. Install
- unzip the file
- most it's a folder named after the AddOn
- open RoR folder > Interface > AddOns
- and put the unziped folder inside the AddOns folder

3. Activating the Addon ingame
- open Esc > User Settings > Interface > Mods/Add-Ons...
- you can see a list of all AddOns
- scroll to the new added AddOn, check the box to the right and press okay.
How to remove AddOns properly
Spoiler:
- close your game (just to be sure that nothing weird happen)
- open the RoR > Interface > AddOns folder
- delete the whole folder (e.g. Enemy)
- open RoR > user > settings > Martyrs Square > Character Name > Profile Name
- delete the whole folder that contains the AddOn (e.g. Enemy)
[some AddOns own more folders e.g. CMap and CMap_config (so delete both)]
- open RoR > cache
- and delete the whole content inside (not the cache folder itself!)
- Done! You can start your game again!
VinyUI - a quick "how to update to 5.16 (or how to replace QQer and Zonepop Lite to the current version)"

So actually, this works with almost all AddOns you want to update

- close your game (just to be sure that nothing weird happen)
- open the RoR > Interface folder > AddOns
- delete Queue Queuer, Zonepop Lite folder
- still inside the AddOns folder, open the Warboard folder and delete: WarBoard_TogglerQueueQueuer and WarBoard_ZonePOP

- Open Warhammer Online > user > settings > Martyrs Square > character-name > profile-name (you have to do this for every character you have)
- Now we are doing almost the same as before
- delete Queue Queuer, Zonepop Lite folder
- open the Warboard folder and delete: WarBoard_TogglerQueueQueuer and WarBoard_ZonePOP

- Finally, download the latest version of VinyUi
- Unzip (easy!)
- open the Interface > AddOns folder on the VinyUi unzip and your one (RoR > Interface > AddOns)
- drag and drop Queue Queuer, Zonepop Lite from Viny to your folder
- open Interface > AddOns > Warboard on the VinyUI unzip and your one (RoR > Interface > AddOns > Warboard)
- drag and drop WarBoard_TogglerQueueQueuer and WarBoard_ZonePOP inside

- just delete your cache (RoR > cache), but only the content not the whole cache folder

- start your game
- Esc > user settings > Interface > open Mods/Addons...
- maybe you have to check the Addons again to active them. (these are WarBoard_TogglerQueueQueuer, WarBoard_ZonePOP, Queue Queuer, Zonepop Lite)
- Done!

First of all, macros like "/target" (on friendly or hostile target) doesn't work in ror, but you can assist a friend on an enemy target.
If you have installed "swift assist", press ESC - Macros:

function: If you target a friendly player, you can set him as your main assist target.
You can drag and drop the macro on your action bar.

so you can drag and drop the marco on your action bar, and set a keybinding on the certain spot.

Ranked Scenarios are a 6v6 deathmatch engagements in a variety of maps for players who are level 40.
You can queue for Ranked Scenarios in two ways: Ranked (Solo), and Ranked (Premade).

[Maps]

You will now just queue for the "Ranked Solo" or "Ranked" scenario, and upon entering the scenario you will get loaded into one of the six maps currently available.

All six maps use the same rule set, with a single flag in the middle of the map.

[Crashes during Queue]

+ Players who are non-participants in matches will now be considered as losers of the match if the match is recorded. Too many matches where you are considered a 'deserter' will result in you being excluded from weekly rewards.
+ Players who intentionally throw matches or disrupt the game mode. Those that are found disrupting ranked scenarios in any way will find themselves unable to queue for ranked for very long periods of time. Don't push it.
+ You no longer are forced into Solo Ranked Scenarios when the timer expires. Instead, you are granted a quitter debuff that lasts 1200 seconds (20 minutes). If the match starts without you after you hit 'give me more time' (or an addon does it for you) and do not accept, you are considered a 'deserter' and will lose matchmaking rating.
[General Rules of the Game]
Spoiler:
+ Prep time in ranked scenario is 90 seconds.
+ One match takes 10 minutes.
+ Each kill is worth 50 points.
+ The scenario ends when 500 points are earned by each team.
+ The scenario itself has no guards, which means it will end in a total domination after 10 kills have occurred, or after the scenario timer has elapsed.
+ A flag is present in the center of all 6v6 maps.
+ The flag has a 60 second capture time and is not intended as the primary win condition. Instead, its presence is to end the match in case the enemy team gives up. You can no longer capture the flag in ranked SCs if anyone is in combat. Flag now grants 50 points every 6 seconds when captured, and 25 points initially.
+ A notification is displayed in text and sound to everyone in the match upon interacting with the flag. This is to avoid ninja capping.
+ Flag in ranked can't be spam clicked.
[Solo Ranked 6v6]

Queue requirements and MMR brackets:
+ Career Rank 40.
+ When a new season starts, your MMR will be reset.
+ You may only queue for Ranked scenarios if you have an item lvl 45 in all armor slots, and average item lvl 50 or higher (The gear unlock restrictions to queue up have been removed).
+ You need talismans in all talisman slots apart from jewelry.
+ This mode can only be queued up by yourself. You can still queue for it in a party, but you must not queue as a group. You can queue for this scenario while in a Warband.
+ Specializations Trainers have been added to the spawn areas. They allow you to change to another spec of the same archetype as you currently have.
+ Certain archetypes are unable to change gear while they are queued up within a ranked solo scenario queue. They are additionally restricted from changing gear during the match.

It’s allowed to change...
  • equipped morales, while in a queue for, or in, a Solo Ranked Scenario.
  • equipped tactics, while in a queue for, or in, a Solo Ranked Scenario, with the exception of Divine Fury and Focused Assault.
  • worn equipment, while in a queue for, or in, a Solo Ranked Scenario, with the exception of Healer Archetype.
  • Tanks can change items and tactics even when they are in queue for ranked scenarios.
Matchmaking System:
+ The matchmaker will match an equal amount of ranged DPS with the enemy's number of ranged DPS.
However, it will allow 2 x mDPS vs 1 mDPS + 1 rDPS combinations now. It will still prefer games with same amount of rDPS & mDPS on both sides though.
And any combination with 2 x rDPS on a team is blocked.

So the combinations it will create matches for are:
  • 1 mdps + 1 rdps vs 1 mdps + 1 rdps
  • 2 mdps vs 2 mdps
  • 2 mdps vs 1 mdps + 1 rdps
+ When there's multiple ranked matches ongoing, it will start to avoid matching two players of the same class and archetype into the same match. This avoids setups where you have no single target punt and many setups where you would have no heal debuff. But when there's only enough players available for one match it will ignore this restriction.
+ The Solo Ranked matchmaker will check equipment instead of mastery for Disciple of Khaine and Warrior Priest.
+ Melee Squig Herders & Assault Shadow warriors counts as MDPS for ranked solo.
+ The bracket size is dynamically adjusted based on the average number of ongoing matches the last 20 minutes. So it starts with a fairly large bracket size, but once more and more matches are ongoing it will narrow it down a bit.
All of the values for that can be changed live and are subject to change, but current values:

Base bracket size (scales between these values):
  • With more than 4 ongoing games for last 20 minutes: 250 MMR
  • With 0 ongoing games last 20 minutes: 600 MMR
Additional bracket size based on queue time: +22 MMR per minute in queue
Maximum possible bracket size: 1200
And no games mixing 0 MMR and 1k+ MMR.
And it will only try to create pops around players whose queue time is longer than 60% of the average queue time.

Abandoned Match:
+ Solo Ranked Scenarios will now aggressively try and close matches that start without the proper amount of players on both sides. These matches that end early will no longer grant emblems, renown, or quest completion.
+ You no longer are forced into Solo Ranked Scenarios when the timer expires. Instead, you are granted a quitter debuff that lasts 1200 seconds (20 minutes). If the match starts without you after you hit 'give me more time' (or an addon does it for you) and do not accept, you are considered a 'deserter' and will lose matchmaking rating.
+ In Solo Ranked, defer to individual effort if both sides are 0 score when the match ends, and consider both players losers (only affects rewards)
+ It’s allowed to start a surrender vote in Solo Ranked 6v6 scenarios after 5 minutes.

[Ranked Scenario Seasons]

+ As you play games, you will obtain a matchmaking rating. This rating is unique to both queue types and is used to track your performance within matches. Your performance in Solo will have no bearing on your Premade rating and vice versa.
+ Matchmaking rating will additionally be used to pair players together of similar matchmaking rating in the Solo queue type.
+ The longer time elapses without a queue pop, the more matchmaking is expanded for that player to additional ranges.
+ At the start of a season, your matchmaking rating is completely reset to "0".

+ A new emblem currency has been introduced for Ranked Scenario game modes: Victorious Emblems.
+ With Season 2 a new emblem currency has been introduced aswell: Triumphant Insignias.
Triumphant Insignias is a new currency, you will receive one of them for winning a match in the following situations:
  • Win a Ranked Group match
  • Have an MMR of 1000 or more and win a Ranked Solo match
+ Winning a match will result in a gain of 20 Victorius Emblems and 1 Triumohant Emblems at maximum. Losses will result in a maximum of 5 Victorius Emblems.
+ Ranked has a significantly higher Renown/XP gain than normal scenarios. XP can be used to level your guilds even at 40.
+ Victorious Emblems and Triumphant Insignias are used to purchase unique gear.
+ Vendors have been added to the War Quarter in Altdorf for Order, and to The Undercroft in The Inevitable City.
+ New tome unlocks have been added for playing and for winning certain number of Ranked matches. There's also tome unlocks added for getting a top placement in a season in total or for your class.

Note:
The weekly ranked event ends at noon on Mondays, just like the warfront, instead of midnight between Sunday & Monday.

New added Rewards:
+ The Triumphant armor set and Victorious armor set now have a new jewelry piece added. This is a slot 3 Jewelry piece that is able to harness stalwart talismans, just like the Sentinel jewelry. This means these sets will now have eight pieces in total, however they will only have set bonuses up to seven pieces. That being said, you can pick which pieces you want to use.
Each of these two rings will cost 2000 Triumphant Emblems and 50 Triumphant Insignias.
+ Ranked Quartermasters have been added in Altdorf and the Inevitable City. They sell trophies, new unique cloaks, mounts and more for Triumphant Emblems & Triumphant Insignias.
+ Some of the trophies and cloaks are unique and will be only available after the season if you place 1st to 3rd of your class in either Ranked Solo or Ranked Group.
+ They also sell 90 day mounts for 500 Triumphant Emblems & 20 Triumphant Insignias. Which mount you can buy depends on your race and class:

#2: 750 Triumphant Emblems
#3: 500 Triumphant Emblems
#4: 250 Triumphant Emblems

There is also a new vendor in Altdorf and the Inevitable City that will sell unique mounts, unique trophies and unique new titles! As for the top players, who ranked between 1st and 10th position within each class, more rewards will be available for them. Some of these rewards are unique to those who placed 1st within their class.

For those like me who are “config addons challenged” do you have a way to set effigy target ring to show a cross over whole screen ?

Great job, should be sticky.

Also little suggestion since its more for newbies than veterans. I`d add totally separate section dedicated to crashes. Amount you see them lately are scary. Especially forts. I think that will be main reason others will use this cheat-sheet.

Nah, I don't leave....im a lazy piece of ****...so evertime someone has an issue, I can post this thread :D
But I like your idea....maybe I will do an extra section for crashing/fps things
