Kar Khadath Regiment - Dark Elf PVP/RP Guild

The bone-piercing winds of Naggaroth howled within the Witch King's halls, only briefly interrupted by short sentences, hastily barked out by a towering, armoured man in the center of the room. Long shadows danced around the chamber in the flickering witch light orbs which illuminated the grand chamber.

'My lord, the entire frontline is crumbling underneath the combined might of our accursed cousins, Empire's state troops and Dwarf gunlines! If we do not receive reinf...'

'Enough, Commander Varanyth,' interrupted a powerful voice, as if it came from afar, yet so impossibly close it chilled from the bones out. The howling din paused as if listening, a lingering silence as if watching, waiting to see what would come to pass.

'My L-lord...'

The imposing figure, clad in dark plate looked down with hate filled eyes that glowed as brightly as the seams in his armour. With a gesture of his hand, clad in a clawed gauntlet, a sudden violent burst swept through the room, flooding it like an arctic gale, knocking the breath out of the Commander and forcing him to kneel.

'Silence! I tire of your excuses.' Filled with malaise, the voice promised unspeakable agonies should the Commander continue.

'You will not interrupt your King again,' added a gentler voice, that of a female. Her tone was one of amusement, as the great warrior was utterly disarmed by the woman of alluring and yet unpleasant beauty.

'Now, to the matter at hand...'

'Commander Varanyth, you were granted an Iron Writ and with it you carry your Sponsor's authority. You have, however, failed in your appointed task and you left her...dissatisfied. How terribly disappointing.'

As soon as the woman stopped speaking, the set of great steel doors at the foot of the chamber flung opened with great force. Two guardsmen marched in, between them carrying a small cauldron; their footfalls drumming a rhythm on the flagstones. The air instantly took on the taint of molten iron.

The kneeling figure on the ground tried to move, to shout, to do anything, but was left powerless. It was as if a greater will than his was holding him firmly in place, to await his terrible fate. The guards slowed as they approached, the cauldron gleaming in the pale light, tendrils of blackened steam rising from the unholy vessel.

'And I'm sure you the know the price, Commander,' bellowed a voice from within the armour.

The hulking figure approached the guardsmen, taking the cauldron and grasping it firmly as one of the guards gripped the seasoned warrior by the neck and tilted his head back. Without a word, the cauldron's contents were poured down the Druchii's throat. The agonized shrieks of the powerless victim could be heard from the farthest corners of the fell citadel, until the dreadful noise was rendered to a choking gargle whilst the molten iron did its work. As the screams faded to the gasping rasps of the dying, two figures entered the room, seemingly unaffected by the scene playing out before them; or perhaps concealing it very well.

'Forge it into a new Writ,' instructed the female, a note of amusement heard in her voice.

'It's yours for now....if you dare claim it,' she spoke, a mirthless smile spoiling her unearthly beauty as she uttered these words to the Druchii who had just entered the hall.

One of the guardsmen lifted the now empty cauldron from the ground, whilst the other grabbed the lifeless body by the scruff of his neck.

'No, leave the cauldron...as a reminder. Go.'

The guardsmen bowed deeply and then hastily left the room, dragging the corpse along the black floor. The woman placed her hand on the shoulder of her armoured companion, as he gave his decree; his voice again bellowing across the frozen hall.

'Division and conflicting goals give room to weakness. Strength lies in a common aim, combined strategy, and relentless discipline. I have decreed that the time has come for those who fight for their own ambition stand side by side with the disciplined and form orderly ranks fit to crush our foes.' Though once again calm, the voice carried an unspoken threat underneath.

'We have decided that you shall bind together our finest and cruelest, bring rebellion under the yoke of a single command. Whilst the healthy struggle of one House against another encourages the strong to rise, as things stand our might is wasted. Your regiment, what is it now?' she paused, tapping her full lips thoughtfully. 'Ah, yes. Kar Khadath,' she purred the words almost mockingly.

An uneasy silence befell those gathered in the room, hesitant to draw attention to themselves lest the weight of wrathful ire fall upon them.

'You may leave now,' uttered the lithe regal figure, clad in a wrought crown and strategically placed silk, who dismissed her subjects as casually as ushering away a common servant.

'Dread Highness... Queen Morathi.' With these words, the two figures left the room as quickly as they entered it, Malekith's glare smouldering into them as soon as they dared to turn their backs.

From the high balcony, The Witch King and the Hag Sorceress of Ghrond gazed down as their forces gathered below; soldiers marching, warriors forming rank. Banners snapped in the wind, as the troops were called to rank by the Commanders who now found themselves in a position of unique opportunity. The din of war horns rose above the cheers of the Druchii army, mingling with the growls of nauglir and other terrible beasts. With a cry of 'Sa’an’ishar!' a drum set the marching pace as the army moved out; the thunderous sound of a marching host echoing across the frozen plains of Nagarythe. The symphony of death had begun.

'And so the Druchii from across the Land of Chill have come together in a tenuous alliance to advance the will of the Witch King. Soon there will no stopping us, my son, as we sweep the Old World into darkness and a new age of subjugation. The Kar Khadath Regiment shall serve us well.'

Who we are: The Kar Khadath Regiment is a Dark Elf guild with a strong focus on PvP and RP. Having recently celebrated our first year as a guild, we are a level 40 guild with all the perks you'd expect from our rank.

Alliance: We're members of Destruction's roleplaying community; The Iron Pact Alliance. This is a coalition of themed PvP/RP guilds, consisting of the Tribes of Norsca (Chaos), the Bloody Mugz Tribe (Greenskins), and Drukhae Khalir (Mixed). We're a tightly knit community of like-minded players. We aim to provide an enjoyable and interesting environment for both PvP and RP players. To enable you to group up with a larger group of players we're part of RoR's No Mercy, No Remorse alliance which includes Guardians of Destiny, Minds of Insanity, Riders of the Apocalypse, Verge, and Pain and Pleasure.

What are we about: We are a guild of friends, first and foremost. Friends who enjoy taking part in organized PvP as well as roleplaying activities. Our aim is to provide advice and help to our members in all things and help them grow with us. Besides RvR and RP, we also group up for dungeon runs, scenarios, and help each other pick up decent in game gear.

Our goals: Having a stable core of players running PvP groups together and RP events in between all the fighting. To continually improve. But most of all - have fun! Don't worry if you're new to Warhammer and/or PvP games, our aim is to help you in any way we can! We're open to new and low-level players.

Who we're looking for: Players that are interested in either PvP or roleplaying (and ideally - both!). If you're only interested in playing RvR and SCs in an organized manner with us, that's fine - by the same token, if only wish to attend our RP events, that's also something you can focus on. That said, we encourage our members to take part in both kinds of activities, but it's definitely not a requirement. You play however and whenever you want.

Voice Communication: We use Discord. Its usage is heavily recommended for PvP (even if just for listening). It also serves as a nifty tool to communicate outside of the game. We have multiple text and voice channels for advice on leveling up, PvP and RP. We expect everyone to sign up to ensure they get the most out of the guild and keep up with events, tips, and banter.

Requirements: All Dark Elf classes, levels 1-40. Lore-friendly name is required. Whilst we will recruit players with non-lore-abiding names, we expect you to change your name to something more appropriate once you reach level 40/renown rank 40. You can do this by typing .changename whilst stood in the Inevitable City.

Timezone: We have a strong core of both EU, Russian, and NA players. Our events are scheduled in a way that we hope to enable as many as possible to participate, and as such we are most active between 18:00 and 00:00 server time.

Recruiters: We have recruiters in many timezones; contact any of them if you wish to join us:
EU: Ithilsyn (Ulralys), and Duvaindir (Amarthandir)
RU: Veszal
NA: Telalis, and Slaa

Events: We host regular events for you to enjoy. Every fortnight, Tuesdays see us entering combat against our enemies in 6-v-6 small scale battles, with even some 2-v-2, and dueling going on. Our official RVR night is Thursday, although you will see us out in the lakes most nights. We hold our roleplaying nights on Saturdays where you can join with your character to step in to our epic saga of conquest and intrigue. Sunday nights see us running scenario premades. Naturally, anything and everything is arranged to fit the needs of our guild members including Gunbad Runs, City Dungeons, Lair bosses, and whatever other shenanigans you can think of.

Guild story: Character immersion is important to many of us, and as such, our guild and other Iron Pact members participate in roleplay to build on this story. The earlier ones can be found in the roleplaying forum, with summaries of each event also posted in Discord, and on Facebook.

Social Media: We have our own FB page which you can find here https://www.facebook.com/groups/210777879465964/. Guild members and our allies are welcome to sign up, so you can keep informed of events, news, and other business. Oh, and plenty of sillies.

Feel free to post below if you have any questions and we'll get back to you as soon as we are able. Otherwise look for a recruiter in game.

We regularly hold cross alliance fight nights featuring small scale battles. It's a lot of fun, and a great way to practice teamwork. Thanks to Drafi from The Bitterstone Thunderers for this video, featuring the Dawi of Ekrund, Tribes of Norsca, and Kar Khadath! Bring it on!!

Sounds fun, been mostly on the order side since I came back, never really tried looking for RP here since the pop is small as it is.
But why not, might as well.
THOUGH I am still a bit on the fence between what class to go with. Got one of each on the edge of t1 but am a bit still indecisive with what to go on.

Hi,
I think I am interested, specially for the Dark Elf only groups part. Also curious about your RP events to add a new dimension to the game. I'll ping you online.

Greetings both! Apologies for the delayed response. Hard to tell if we've been able to speak with you in game.

@TreefAM - It's important that your main is the class you enjoy playing the most, but be assured that alts are welcome.

@Koradell - Look out for any of our recruiters. GM'd RP events will be starting up again in January, although we do participate in casual sessions whenever we are able.

Very good. A mounted Druchii Warband is visually very impressive. And the manticore lore wise totally fitting. :)
